Title: AHS Coin-The coin of choice for high school entrepreneurs and miners
Post by: amarotica on November 19, 2014, 01:35:50 AM
Hello all,
I am proud to announce the release of AHS Coin (Ashland High School Coin). I am in 10th grade and have been working on this for a long time now. Since bitcoin was such a cool thing, I thought it would be cool to make a new coin for AHS. It is a sha-256 coin with full hosting of the blockchain so there are no problems. If you would like to help expand AHS Coin, you can download the wallet and mine the coin if you would like. Below is all the data needed to create AHS Coin pools, servers or solo mine setups and also the wallet. Please comment if you have questions or anything.

Wallet: http://voimariini.s3.amazonaws.com/54037cce1d78b0c246120496/winqt.zip (http://voimariini.s3.amazonaws.com/54037cce1d78b0c246120496/winqt.zip)

Halving=210000 blocks
Initial coins per block=100 coins

Target timespan=168 h
Coinbase maturity=6 blocks
Premine=0 %
Max coinbase=42000000 + 0 = 42000000 coins
P2P port=11031
RPC port=21031

Shadow!
Be nice. :)
If he's in tenth grade, we don't need to demoralize the poor kid on his first expedition.

Good luck with your launch!

I agree, but there is no chance of success.  :P

So is this just a fun high school experiment or do you have serious plans for this coin? Also I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'full hosting of the blockchain'?
I'll wait for some pools to show up  :)

What a shame. I'm (supposed to be) in 10th grade too. I made my own coin by editing the source and changing the Merkel root and stuff but I got stuck in compiling the windows wallets. Looks like you got past me. Oh well.

I wonder how many people thought that about Doge. Anything is possible.

Hey Dev, good luck!
