Was selling few btc, and posted on a thread of a guy who was buying. Got the PM later that he wanted to buy, I insisted on escrow, he suggested Yankee (Bitinstant), good ols user and I accepted. Only when I sent coins to supposed escrow I noticed that account I sent to was completely new and had dot after Yankee, while supposed segvec I was trading with is actualy seqvec. 5 BTC gone to wind due to my stupidity. So, be careful and avoid doing the same mistake. Could you post the bitcoin address you sent the coins too, maybe someone can do a little tracking and find out more about them.

since all those mistakes of checking if it was a non new account w. proper name etc could of been avoided. it was either you were too excited to sell trying to make a fast transaction. i wont laugh, cause it happens to the best of us. for me i lost smaller amount, but this is when btc value was super high like mid $700 value, and meant to give .02 not .2 and clicked send.
