Title: Recomend a good Bitcoin Mining Hardware
Post by: Bastyy on November 20, 2014, 04:38:47 PM
Hi, I'm new in this business but ive been researching about btc for a couple of weeks now. I just wanted to know the recommended Product to buy. Power is not an issue in my place so I dont care if the machine is taking too much power as long as its hashing Terabytes per sec. Budget is around $1000-1500.

Hey thanks for the reply SP20 looks good. Avalon4 does not have a price in their website and read a couple of bad reviews to them. Prism? is it a company name of a product?

Any other recommendations?

Look at the Bitmain products.  http://www.bitmain-tech.com/ (http://www.bitmain-tech.com/)
They have a decent selection with few issues.  Reputable company.

I would be cautious of the Prisma.  A lot of people are having a hard time getting them to work properly.  Once they are set up they seem to run and run, like other AM miners.  But getting them set up seems to be the issue.  You should be pretty experienced before messing with this one or have some help.  It is the best priced of all I believe.

Bitmain just did a round of coupons that make it nicer on price especially S4's.  SP is great as they are paying compensation for not shipping as quick and having a lot of orders it seems.  They are doing top notch on compensation.

Bitmain or SP can't go wrong.

I really wanted to get a Prisma but that was what scared me.  I know my first asics were powered by AM.   I'm hoping they do a second version with temp sensors and cool within a case.   The melted ones scare me.  (And it probley is a very small amount I have no idea effected number)

I have 6 Prismas and they run well now, but if I ever have to turn them off it's a crap shoot as to whether they will come back on.  They eventually get going and then work great.  But as I said, not for the inexperienced.
