Title: World WAR III
Post by: LittleD on November 21, 2014, 11:11:58 PM
It seems these days the world is literally on fire. Conflict continues on and off in Ukraine, there are tensions throughout the Asia-Pacific, Ebola is on the rampage, ISIS continues its bloody war of attrition throughout Syria, into Iraq and on and on. Yet, could something even worse be on the horizon—a conflict with more-severe global ramifications?

Before we begin this foray into the five places where World War Three could break out, I should note a few qualifiers and weasel words.

First off, what’s World War Three? As illustrated by the Ukraine crisis and the Obama administration’s struggle to define what is going on in Syria/Northern Iraq, “20th-Century Industrial War” is out of fashion and has been for some time.

Some of the predictions below envisage regime collapse that leads to war, while the specter of a terrorist WMD attack has the capacity to turn apocalyptic very quickly. That said, this might just be a phase: state-on-state violence will still be theoretically and practically possible as long as nation-states possess the means to expend blood and treasure.

That’s why most of the predictions below examine the possibility of conventional strike and counterstrike between nations. No nuclear-armed power—whether it is the United States, China or Russia—would accept defeat to a peer competitor in conventional warfare without then inflicting the maximum penalty on its opponent.

That is one very good reason why World War Three as we know it is unlikely to happen; it is also why all of the possibilities mentioned below involve nuclear-armed—or potentially nuclear-armed—entities.

North Korea vs. the World:

News out of Pyongyang over the last several weeks that Kim Jong-un is feeling unwell has reminded people that Northeast Asia contains its very own brand of extremist Kool-Aid drinkers. The smart line on North Korea is that its “provocations,” to use the accepted term, are graduated steps in a controlled game of escalation that Kim plays to receive concessions in the form of aid or economic largesse from the international community.

The current talks between North Korea and Japan over the longstanding abduction issue are just one particularly cruel variation on this, where Pyongyang is trying to leverage the political importance of the abductees in Japan at a moment where both sides are short of allies in Northeast Asia.

The “provocation” theory works fine until you realize that at the end of the day, North Korea is still developing a nuclear-weapons program and mobile systems to deliver atomic-tipped warheads. Meanwhile, South Korea is building its own deterrent in the form of the “kill chain,” which ambitiously proposes knocking out Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons before they can leave the ground. Throw in the fact that China appears to have lost patience—and more importantly, influence—in North Korea since the purging and execution of Jang Song Thaek, and the situation on the peninsula becomes a lot less predictable.

For sure, North Korea’s behavior is grounded in the absolute logic of regime survival. But if Kim dies or can no longer ensure that the Pyongyang elite benefit from his rule, then all bets are off.

China vs. India (vs. Pakistan)

The border confrontation between India and China that was finally de-escalated on September 27 after nearly three weeks is the latest illustration of just how uneasy relations can be between these two massive neighbors. The recent arrival of a PLA Navy Type 039 submarine in Sri Lanka—China’s westernmost foray with a submarine—is another sign that Delhi and Beijing’s strategic priorities may clash.

I don't care! Frankly I think it's not even interesting to discuss it. Because let's face it, most modern war are to perpetuate or to impose the Hjalmar Schacht paradigm. Aka you are born to WORK... then who get's the benefits is another question. If I could have told soldiers in ww1 or 2 what the world would be after all their unbelievable sacrifices what their friends children that are going to survive would live in, I am sure that they would have all dropped their weapons. Meanwhile the master minds of those war were enjoy the benefits of all mens on the front and where reaping early pleasure hand over fists. Happily I am sure that it will be easy to sell this ww3 to sheepole, they will love it, fight and die in it. The important thing for the planers of population management is to save Africa, I think that they will not nuke it... It will their great new beginning something like that. But at the age of quantic weapon program, I am not sure at all. But anyway there is one certitude, work. Hjalmar Schacht was in my opinion a greatest conqueror that all previous one before him. I mean he successfully implanted his ideologies almost all around the world...

Since when are there winners in war?

Stop discussing fantasies of mass violence and unrest.  You are only further manifesting them into reality.

The true winner will be those who do not give the government energy.  Lose fear of the government and they have no power over you.  Lose fear of death and death has no power over you.

Overcome fear and you are truly free.

All we have is now.  I see no war.  I see peace.  I see beauty everywhere.  I will continue seeing peace because I feel peace.  And what is life but a result of our feelings and beliefs?

Discuss peace, unity and oneness, not war and chaos, else you are simply a tool for the government to use to manifest their unruly wet dream into reality.

Find peace in the present moment and you can find peace in yourselves.  World peace is near.  Is it not more logical to focus our energy on manifesting a world of peace, rather than a world of fear?

We each have a say in this.

Why you have inserted a country like North Korea and South Korea? If something happen, this two country doesn't start war, maybe only North Korea can, but South Korea no (I guess). Anyway, I guess that an union of Russia-China will be so dangerous for the Occident. I guess that only this two country are sufficient to lead America and other country.

China, because they would patiently wait for Russia and US to fight and go in for the scraps with all they got. Either that or Russia/China teams up (not unlikely since both has grudge against america).

There will be only loser and no one winner if world war III will happen. But, I think that a war is very necessary to reset the actual economic situation of our planet.

I don't think there will have a World WAR III.
No one can win in the nuclear weapon world.

No the people leaving in spaceships with all the technology and resources needed for the new colony would win.

Think Lockheed Martin would also win quite large

As soon as you get off your asses and start using coins and stop using WWIII-at, then we will know with 100% certainty that there won't be a WWIII.

Www3 is end of the world

Not in all case. Consider that actually there is another war, which I called "Economy war" which is fight between Russia, USA and China !

Anyway, I don't see necessary use of Atomic BOMB for the next war.

For the war profiteers to be successful their going to need to get rid of the atom bomb. it kills to many people in a short period of time not to mention the nuclear fallout.

You don't have option "no one" here. Should add it.
But if it will happen, I think America will gain all the profit again. Same like it was after WW1 and WW2.

Yeah I figured if America lost it would be portioned by other countries or completely destroyed.
