This could potentially take over a month and a half to hit if posting trends continue. October only saw ~363k posts and November saw ~418 posts.

Too bad there is no prize, at all. I think it would be great if would be some small prize like 10 btc to lucky poster. Do not you guys think that so?

Then how do you know who posts the 10,000,000th post?

People can manipulate it by deleting their own and their alt accounts posts.

There will be a fight between people claiming to have made the 10,000,000th post  :D

ChartBuddy has been making automated posts on market depth every hour for a very long time. I wouldn't call those posts spam. :)

Well, I don't know really. According to Quickseller, only around ~400k posts occur each month. So it'd make sense that it might take around another month.

December saw 294517 (~295k) posts, this is down ~2.9% from November even though December has ~3% more days, although this could be attributed to the Christmas and New Years holidays. January 2014 saw ~620k posts verses December 2013's ~453k posts which was a ~37% increase. January 2013 over December 2012 saw a ~15% increase in posts.

Edit: I was using an inaccurate current post count above for my estimate.

Yeah, it's about 10k a day. Meaning we should hit 10M posts in a matter of days, one week max.

Well, BCT hit 10 million posts. No idea when though. At the time I made this post, the total posts on BCT was 10015833, or 15833 more than 10 million.

If someone reminds me after about 600,000 more posts, I can tell you who has the ten millionth post not counting deleted posts. Then there will be three "ten millionth" posts, and we can pick the best one. ;)
