Hi Everyone,

I have seen here there is un-ending discussion on comparison of computer devices, programs. However, mobile technology is taking over this world. Now more and more people are attracting to mobile devices. I think there may be some people out there don't even use computer, just a smartphone enough for their needs.

Let's begin this discussion.

Apple is the top smartphone manufacturing company also made their operating system for iPhone/iPad. There are many and many iPhone lovers. But what I really hate about them is that they keep charging for everything.

On the other hand, Google is already in the market with android operating system which is open-source, and the top mobile manufacturing companies such as Samsung, HTC and Motorola are using android OS to compete with iPhone OS. Android OS is free and also bundled which huge number of free apps which is awesome.

What do think which smart phone you like the most:

iPhone or Android smart phone?

Depends on your needs, to be honest. I don't even need a smartphone.

I vote for Android open-source and cheap devices.  :)

I also don't need smartphone, what I need is laptop and normal mobile phone.

I feel that Android is better then iPhone.

Everyone here love Android! Why would you pay higher for iPhone when you can get it cheaper on Android? ::)

I don't like google, and have used iphone for years, since my music is on itunes I like apple.

I refused to get an apple laptop until they forced me to get one to upload stuff I do to iTunes store, so now due to that I don't like Apple either.

Google is the worse company in the world IMO and I can't wait for the next type of search to destroy the google monopoly.

Paid search has ruled the world for 15 years now and google has ruled it for most of that.

IMO verified business search will soon challenge google when they launch their first series of TV ads with people crying how Google GREED killed their grandmother or mother who used Google to find a doctor and that doctor was unlicensed and their methods KILLED their loved one.

Did you know that there's actually a class action on Google now over how they allow anyone to buy the top spots with no verification if they have a medical or legal license, the great whore of babylon is GOOGLE.

Google GREED will destroy the company and I trust nothing from them, I don't use Chrome, I don't google anything and Bing is now a better search anyway.

If you're a lawyer that buys ads on google do you like paying 100 bucks per click for some legal terms?

Do you think insurance companies and banks like paying 50 bucks a click for their terms.

The G in Google stands for GREED, I can't wait to see 1 Search take a huge part of Google marketshare from them, all it will take is a few super bowl ads of people crying and saying the GREED of google killed their loved ones, that is how unethical google is and they track the hell out of everyone with chrome, google and their OS for android.

Just read the lawsuits they have against them and you see how UGLY they are, did you know one of the top executives has multiple FRAUD CONVICTIONS with the SEC and he now has a major criminal conviction over his role with Google?

I like Android devices because of the various customized ROMs and general customization options.

Choose what suits you i prefer android because i love the customization that it gives you.

I use both, Android and iOS, they both have advantages and disadvantages.

I'm really in love with my One+One android smart phone, can customize everything related to software, appearance, etc.

Never expected to like android that much as Apple user.

android is da best os easily customizable and everyone can afford android device.  :D

I would choose android... i like to download for free or cheaper apps and services...
And there a lot of things to customize your homescreen with widgets and customize your keyboard and a lot of stuff

Im glad to see Android is winning. iPhone is centralized trash. I dont think no one that is into Bitcoin would chose it above android.

It's not which OS is better, it's which OS works better for the user. Everything really depends on the user.

I like android over iphone. It much cheaper and can be easily customize than iphone.

Android.. for some reasons

none of them.

I'm using symbian (s60v5 and belle) and I got tons of reasons.

android: google steals tons of personal data from you (not to mention that other apps which steal your personal data).

ios: i'm too rich to buy one. i don't like apple and it's products, they're too overrated.

symbian: lots of good stuff, first of all kinda stuff like "first multitasking mobile os, first touch screen etc"...

windows phone: never mention to it...

symbian never tries to steal your data and use it against you...

bitcointalk isnt exactly representative of the general public, and with android being much more of a techie brand, its no surprise it will be more popular here

I love how many more 3rd party apps are available for android, and they dont need to use an official store to install. You can download and extract the package onto the device.

i like iphones os since it looks very simple.

Android ftw in this case,
Iphone wants to control what you do by making you use only certain apps.
Lame if you ask me.

I actually like the simplicity of iOS

I vote Android, I've always been an android fan though I've used iphones and they've all sucked even with jailbroken modded out OS. On the other hand no matter what android device I have at the time I've always been able to find or create a great custom rom and kernel to get the most out of each one. I currently have the note 4 and couldn't be happier with it. You can't go wrong with open source android goodness.  ;D

Iphone's consistency makes it a better choice as compared to android phones according to me  :)

A few years back I would've said Apple all the way, these days I still prefer Apple but I think the company is slowly moving away from its roots. Replacing Jobs was always going to be hard but Cook really doesn't have what it takes to be be able to go against the current. To me the iPhone 4 represents the crowning achievement of Apple. But there are still plenty of little details that make the current iPhone the better phone for me. Surprisingly one of the things that I don't like about Android is the customization lol, I don't wanna have a ton of options, I want something simple that just works without me having to mess around with settings until I get it right. Also the Appstore is miles better than Google Play, I think.

Have an iPhone, ready to toss it out the window.  Upgrading ASAP to Android

OP should add another option; Jailbroken iPhone

One main reason can be simplify in just one word:  CHOICES

choose to suit your needs, you know which one is best for you

I think the Galaxy S6 is going to dominate the market. Apple depends on design only. However, by my opinion the Samsung has increased the quality of their phone-designs significantly.

Iphone is easy to use and simple, andriod is more complicated but it is much better once you get to know better about it. So Andriod for me..

I vote for android,it's open-source,you can customize it how you want with roms,there are available cheap smartphones and so on . :)

Using Sony Xperia now :) It's good phone with acceptable price !
