Title: Re: Safe Sites Post by: doubleredrolex on November 24, 2014, 08:52:50 AM if you download any "bitcoin generator" it is VERY likely that it is going to contain a virus to steal any existing bitcoin you have. There are no free bitcoins. Same way that there is no free cash generators.

Freebitco looks shifty but :-\ The "bitcoin-generator" is most likely malware. It has all the signs: - vague explanation of how it works - fake security certifitcate - likewall - need to like before you can do anything or wait X seconds - makes you download software. I will not go through all the hassle to actualy verify its a virus, if you do check it on virustotal before you download. - links to Mt. Gox Freebitco.in is legit AFAIK, but its a faucet which has its own downsides. You get paid insignifcant amounts for enormous time wasted to watch advertisements. And in the end you might have to many inputs to even make a usefull bitcoin transaction.
