how long until we get west propaganda machine claiming that bitcoin is used by terrorists like isis etc? obviously for discreditation purposes. what consequences can we expect off such action?

It will certainly happen, and is already done by hackers . A Suicide bomber could be sitting at the embassy holding a large QR code, for the funds to be sent to his boss sitting in another country . Maybe, if that picture gets posted to reddit, it will be more bitcoins sent to him :)

It's definitely going to happen and will likely be used as a pretext for mass surveillance of Bitcoin users, best thing we can do is get ready for it.

I fear your right. Imagine a bomber saying they will blow something up when they receive $10K at a certain address. Or the even more problematic "anonymous assassination market" proposed in the 70's. This system would allow a hitman to get paid anonymously without ever meeting the client.  

It will be same like Silk Road before , but maybe terorism issue will more bigger than that.
But that will not make bitcoin is banned from this world.

I think there are services that allow you to mix your bitcoins with others so it is harder to know where they came from.
And bitcoin may already be used to finance terrorism, but I don't know if governments will go after it just because of that. Unless they need something to blame, to distract attention from other things. : /

I can use bitcoin in a way that is IMPOSSIBLE to trace back to me. When used normally it is psudo-anonymous, but one can easily lean to hide their identity using bitcoin. BTC is not peace. She is a computer program, free of any morality.

That's precisely it, in fact, that's a large reason why governments and media collude together to make up bullshit issues that are nothing in comparison to what's going on behind the scenes, better to blame Bitcoin for the collapse of the world economy than their own incompetence.

 if the banking kabal decides to discredit bitcoin in any way the easiest way would be to pin it to terrorism through mass media outlets. they can make a provocation with any t group in their disposal to openly use crypto. the point of this thread is to make discussion on what we, as a community can do about it when it hits us and consequently damage bitcoin reputation.

Better would be to do something before it happens. For example, if they start using bitcoin themselves, that would be the best way to avoid any problem lol.
You can have anonymous transactions if you do things right, so maybe we can convince them to use bitcoin at least for their illegal activities? xD

Well it's just a matter of fact that the US dollar also funds terrorists and is the most used drug dealing commodity in the world

So in my opinion no serious effect other than misinformation which might scare a few people off until the ones who are brave enough to ignore the mass media start using it in significant scales as is already happening and we start to see the tides turning.

Yea this allready happened, Some guy from a ISIS twitter said something about bitcoin but it turned out to be BS. I dont have time to search for but look for ISIS and bitcoin and it will come up. There were a few articles and I believe one guy even interviewed the guy and it turned out to be bs and he explained why.

ISIS doesn't give two shits, they would use PayPal if they wanted to and let everyone see their IP. They'd steal a computer, use it for what they want, then chuck it in the trash.
