You count up, and write about anything. But when someone says "duck", the counter resets. There is no penalty for duck. Usernames don't count. Like this: Person0: Hello everyone! (1) Person1: Hi! (2) Person2: How are you doing fellow ducks? >:) (0) Person0: darn. (1) ... Person1: almost... (9) Person2: ducks (0) Person1: grrmrrhrrmrrhrr (1) Okay, well I said duck several times, so we're at 0.
