Title: Programmer looking for work
Post by: lologarithm on June 14, 2012, 07:20:46 AM
My name is Ben - I am a software developer that would love to get some bitcoins without having to mine!

My talents are in programming and so I figured I would offer my services here:

I am very good at client/server programming and can make anything happen in C#/Java
I have done quite a bit of web programming in PHP and some Ruby. (And javascript of course) (However, I am not a designer, just a programmer)
I also do pretty well in C++/C.
I have some experience programming in Android (Java, not the NDK) but 0 experience working with iOS.

Really at the end of the day I can make anything happen if I am being paid to do it.

Update -

Helped Teppy with android programming, hopefully he can provide reference for me if people need it.
Working with BBit now on what he needs - hopefully he can provide reference after I have completed work.

Also, I am not looking for a fulltime job! Several PMs were looking for hundreds of hours of work. I have a full time job already, I just am looking to do a little work on the side to earn some bitcoins.

So only PM me if the work you are looking to do is less than say 50 hours of work (or work that takes less than a month).

Thanks!

Any other small-ish projects need a Java/C#/PHP/SQL/Android developer?

LOl, it's SOOO hard to find a job in this economy  ::)

The software industry as a whole is one of the few industries that has not really had a slump. Granted there are lots of jobs being outsourced to India, but as a whole finding a software job in the US isn't too hard if you are willing to live in big software areas (seattle, bay area, greater LA, greater denver are the ones that come to mind, as I live on the left coast).
