Title: WTS: Sapphire 5830 Extreme Post by: ChanceCoats123 on June 14, 2012, 10:58:01 PM I just got a steal of a price on a 5870, so I'll be taking that card and adding it to my miner. Since I only have so many slots, I'm replacing one of my 5830's.
The card is currently mining, and the 5870 is on the way, so it'll be a few days before I can ship the card out, but I'll check interest while I wait. The card runs just fine, and I don't like to have my cards hot so it's been in the air conditioned, dry basement. I run the fans at 100%, and this fan is starting to show some wear. The fan does spin up, but it's on its way out. I've just had the fan unplugged, and I've placed one of my own 120mm fans in front to keep it cool, and temperatures are actually better than with the stock fan. Running 875/300, the card has been pulling 290mhash/sec on cgminer for the duration of its life in my possession. I'll blow the card out with compressed air, and reconnect the fan before shipping, or whatever the buyer would like. I'm tentatively pricing this at 17BTC shipped US ONLY!!!!! or the USD equivalent via Paypal. I cannot stress this enough, but US BUYERS ONLY!!!!!!
