Simple investment example:

Investor deposits 10 BTC and owns 100% of the bank roll. Player deposits and bet 1 BTC, on loss 0.94 BTC to the investor/ 0.06 BTC as our commission.

We currently charge 6% commission on losing bets to cover expenses such as advertising, server hosting etc. The commission fee is subject to changes.

In the invest page, I find the following paragraph.

Provably fair system works by publishing the hash of a secret before the roll. After the roll, the secret is released and can be compared to the result. Publishing the hash of the secret prevents the operator from changing the secret and by extension, the result of the game.

also, this investment scheme is a joke. They take 6% out of every losing bet. to anyone considering investing:

imagine you are providing 100% of the bankroll.

A person bets 1 btc, loses, you get 0.94btc.
He wins 1 btc, you lose 1 btc.

Repeat 20x. Even if he ends up down 1 btc in total, YOU LOSE MONEY. After under 20 bets, the site takes all your profit.

This is so absurd that I would think that either the owners of this site are totally incompetent and dont understand elementary arithmetics, or know what they are doing and are simply trying to scam out some coins.

Think twice before depositing or investing here.

You are forgetting two simple facts.

1. 6% is subject to changes and it was only set as default.
2. MultiDice doesn't charge 10% commission on divesting like other sites do.

Now make your calculations again!

Without going into the maths, it looks like gambling with a 1% house edge would be less risky than investing.

Investments keep coming in. We now have just over 6 BTC in the Bitcoin site bankroll.

however, what would worry me as an investor is the very short server seed. Why keep it so short? Get a seed length of 150+ characters - it costs you nothing but buts the investors at ease.

Client seed can be edited up to 20 characters. I really don't think players would care to enter 150+ characters every few rolls but we can increase it if we get more requests.

We have now completed setting up. Each game on MultiDice has it's own separate server, hot wallet and cold storage.

I meant the server seed. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes it is improbable that someone could guess/bruteforce it, but its current length makes me feel a bit uneasy. plus, as i said, it costs nothing to increase it to 150 or even 200 chars, whatever. make it resilient.

on a scale of 1-10 i would give this dice site a rating of 2

it lacks a 1/2 button and will never grow big without it.

it also lacks a sign in, how am i supposed to get back into my account.

i don't care about the 0.005 i lost testing your site, but it's lacking a lot of NECESSARY FEATURES. good luck making this site better. feel free to shoot me a pm when you make updates to the site and i'll look at it again and deposit more, but until then, i'd say your site sucks :)

User login is difficult to find, people usually find them on top of the site, why not move to top of the site? It is more interactive and user-friendly.

As to your suggestion, MultiDice was created with security as priority that's why each game has it's own server then each server is linked with it's own wallet server which is then linked with another server for cold storage. Each server is secured and OVH ddos protected.

The faucet only gives you 500 satoshi, but it is enough for you to test the functionality of the site. BTW, you need to reload the page to update your account balance after typing /free.

Thanks guys, we have quite good servers now it's the application might lag sometimes especially if you keep your browser cache for long, but it's nothing critical. It might happen once in a while then just press Ctrl+F5 it will fix without losing any data. On other hand our security is top notch ;)

How can you be so sure about the owner of multidice? do you know him personally roslinpl? Even if people had never had any issue with multidice but it is not a guarantee that the owner is trusted. Trust is not by vouching but it is gain after some time  :-\ :-\

From my experience I know that I can trust Multidice owner as he helped me many times and it was when he wasn't Multidice owner yet :)

We are considering re-designing our user interface to make it look and feel better for players. 

I have a pending withdrawal of 0.165 btc or something like that. I would steer clear until this is resolved.

Over 24 hours and the admin has read my email regarding the withdrawal several times. Yesterday and today.

Let me explain the situation.

I deposit 0.13 and some change btc into the site and managed to increase it up to 0.16 and some change btc. I went to withdraw, but not right away and when I put in my withdrawal address and the amount to withdraw it said to refresh the page, so I refreshed it and my btc was gone. What happened? The withdrawal wasn't processed so did it get sent to manual processing or what? No answer from the admin although he was online on the site until I started asking questions.

Getting worried now!

Admin replied to my email. This might get resolved soon!

No response from the admin after my reply. Great. Gonna be waiting over 48 hours now! -_-

Multidice support is one of the best. Even some major dice sites  can dream about such quality of their support.

good support is always one of the things that attract new players, for example pd has really bad email support and people are complaining about it, besides support you could have level based faucet and so on

When I enter 50 in the "Odds" field, the "Payout" field is shown wrongly as 1.98.
But when the bet is made, the multiplier will be shown correctly as 1.99 with profit correctly calculated.
So the house edge is set correctly, but displayed wrongly before the bet is made.

That's pretty awesome gift to players!
