Title: Review of Bitfloor Post by: alexmat on June 16, 2012, 04:29:21 PM I had a chance to use bitfloor the last couple of days and I wanted to write up a little review about it.
I walked into a Chase bank and deposited some USD to the account bitfloor specifies on its website. The teller asked me for a name on the account, I was a little unsure, but said "bitfloor", she just said "yup" and took my cash. I got the receipt, snapped a picture of it and sent it in. I was expecting to wait a while for a response, but to my surprise, I got one is about 5 minutes. I checked my bitfloor account, and the funds were there ready to trade. The interface took a few minutes to get used to, but after a trade or two, everything makes perfect sense. Fees are very reasonable. I didn't have a chance to test cash withdrawals yet. API looks cool, but haven't messed with it either. One thing I really like is how responsive the site is compared to other exchanges I've used. Overall a very nice experience. Recommended. Title: Re: Review of Bitfloor Post by: BoardGameCoin on June 19, 2012, 09:22:57 PM I don't have a Chase branch near me... I'm working on getting the P2P stuff working. Frustrating to incur ACH transfer times at so many steps of the way. <my bank> -ach-> ING -ach/p2p-> bitfloor. At least I think this will be low fees.

It's free and the electric orange checking account is actually pretty good too, no minimum balance. |
