Where did you acquire 17 Monarch boards?

I am assuming that this is a scam post, but if not I will buy a few from you. How much for 5 of them with me covering all shipping costs? Obviously either you send first or we escrow!

It's too bad he will never be able to sell a monarch for $8,000 (he is essentially scamming regardless of if he delivers or not). This is way more then what BFL was selling for and this was when difficulty was at a small fraction of what it is at now

He is not trying to sell it I asked him months ago if there was a better price and he responded with a counter offer of 80.000 USD

Ye its your newbie status and no proof why everyone thinks this is a scam. Take some pictures of what you're trying to sell with your username on a piece of paper in shot then upload them to http://imgur.com/ (http://imgur.com/).

This is probably roughly what the market would support for these cards. Before the S5 came out the S3s (which have more efficient electric usage) were going for between 170-200 with ~68% of the hashpower. Now that the s5 has been released they seem to be going for around $140 or so, less in bulk

I seem to think the OP is somewhat trolling, regardless if he plans on selling these or not because of his ridiculously high prices. This is more then even BFL's most recent preorder price

Who in their right mind do you expect to purchase these units, considering $2,500 buys you ~5THs nowadays either through Bitmain or SPTech ?

Seriously, I think the OP has his reason for asking this enormous price, he just (just=a year ago, probably) threw
thousands of $s into BFL and he's not following the hw development that closely. So he can't believe he
was screwed that badly by BFL and it must be possible to recover say 75% of his expenses. Understandable.

So he has his reasons for insisting on 2k5 as well as anyone with a healthy mind has his reasons for not throwing
more than 300$ into these devices.

Umm.. I think you need to check on the level of difficulty based on how much it takes to mine as well. You should do ebay then, if its unrealistic price points.

I rather spend 2000 on gaming computer than mining hardware, especially BFL hardwares.

A few shipped before the company got shut down.  I have a couple and would be willing to sell them for $500 each if anyone was interested in owning this piece of Bitcoin mining fail history.

OGNasty, if you knockoff one of the O's from your price deal  ;D   it's a shame these cards were delayed to the point of making them vapor.  i feel bad for those that got duped into paying a couple of grand for them.  BFL josh/jody/and whoever else i neglected  need a good pummeling

They're still quite profitable and the quietest miners out as well as nice little space heaters. I'm not entertaining offers, just saying what I would accept. I agree they are overpriced.

For most people, sure.  Why would anyone pay a higher $/GH for lower efficiency?  Seems dumb.  If you needed a default miner that would warm a dorm room without making noise though, they are probably the best out there currently.  I do agree that for a vast majority of miners, it makes absolutely no sense to purchase a Monarch at this point, even at my 70% off of retail price.

Probably way off-topic here, but can you give a comparison how noisy/silent they are?

Quieter than my desktop computer.  I'd say it's noise level would be that of a fishtank pump or loud power supply.  In other words, you could sleep in a room with it.  I've owned a lot of miners, but I've never owned a quieter one (except usb stick miners).

That sounds really nice, would make a cool heater for my office :D I also like the fact that it fits into a PCIE slot.
If not put into a computer, it looks a bit messy with this detached fan unit however.
So if someone is willing to get rid of one card for 250 drop me a PM, I might consider..
