What is a hero member's activity?

Not making this kind of threads I guess :D

for hero member you need 480 activity

but congrats for you will be sr member next week
i need around 1 mounth to get sr member too

Senior level in 240, and Hero level is 480.  Senior and Hero member is when you get the big BTC in Sig campaigns!   :P

BTW, hero member requires 480 activity.

not today, but next week, so actually you will need to wait for 7 days more. to be a hero you'll need 480 activity, or approximately 8 months from your current rank

Does anyone else look at their "Total time logged in" and go .... man I wish i would had been working and made money during that time lol.

Total time logged in: 27 days, 9 hours and 40 minutes.

My stress levels are telling me I have been logged on way more than this.

Basically, if you ignore this two-week period stuff, you get one activity point per day as long as you're posting often enough.
So the 240 activity points to get from Senior to Hero corresponds to 240 days = roughly 8 months.

I still don't understand one thing,

some people's activity increase while they post.

Why?

It happens when post < activity. Activity count is based on the formula activity = min(time * 14, posts)
For example I am elegible of 14 activity but I only did 10 posts. On my 11th post I will get +1 on activity.

Does anyone know how this connected to activity rank ? is it related or affect the provided equation?

It's easy.
You'll have activity 224 at December 9th.
Activity 238 at December 23th.
Activity 252 at January, 6th. That's when you'll become Sr. Member.

That's true. Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement. You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity, but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.

I thought that becoming legendary was dependent on the amount of time and activity you have shown on the forums.
Having it random, doesn't make much sense.

I have seen accounts becoming members before 2.5 months. Is there another rule for promotion?

I have seen that if a person saves on time, user can get more than 14 points which will make the users Member before 2.5 months. [1] ::) This rules were implemented after sometime after forum was created. So persons before that are likely to become Member faster.

[1] I don't know what it actually means, so I can't explain about it. :(

You need to have posted in five activity periods to become a Member so if you time it right you can get there a little quicker than two and a half months. For instance, the new activity period starts tomorrow so you could sign up today and get 14 points and another 14 tomorrow, so you would become a Member on the 20th of Jan providing you posted in all the periods and made the right amount of posts. You could also just make one post in each of the five periods then make the rest up later and you would instantly rank up from a Newbie to a Member within a day.

Should become senior today! ;D

It can happen when someone in past 2-weeks period didn't wrote 14 posts, an in present 2-weeks period is writing more :) and in this way he can get back activity points from past 2-weeks period.  Refreshing i think is every 30 min, but i'm not sure..
