Sealed watercooling loops remove heat to the internal radiators, while a 1250W PSU provides power. No controller is provided.

Click your flag to find everything you need to get started at Amazon! https://i.imgur.com/nbE2zmI.jpg (http://goo.gl/eAJaff) https://i.imgur.com/VrKwdav.jpg (http://goo.gl/vlElqf) https://i.imgur.com/DKBxvTA.jpg (http://goo.gl/d69kmN) https://i.imgur.com/T4fRQnt.png (http://goo.gl/eAJaff) https://i.imgur.com/fyKxshp.png (http://goo.gl/vlElqf) https://i.imgur.com/8Y0bFol.png (http://goo.gl/d69kmN) https://i.imgur.com/AXm1t8k.png 1) Powering (top) (#post_contents) Apollo's come with a 1250W Chieftec Navitas GPM-1250C PSU in a standard ATX formfactor. It features over 90% efficiency and 1250W on its single 12V rail. If you wish to replace it, 6 PCI-E 6 pin connectors are required. Power is controlled with the PSU switch on the back and not the case's power button. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7562/15286296063_115af1eae0.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7562/15286296063_4954881f55_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7533/15719730139_77f2a9b9a9.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7533/15719730139_3bfe01b762_o.jpg) https://i.imgur.com/AXm1t8k.png 2) Cooling (top) (#post_contents) Each ASIC is cooling by a self contained Corsair H80i High Performance watercooling kit. The pump is integrated into the copper waterblock which pumps coolant up to the aluminium finned radiators mounted in the top of the case. Two 120mm Corsair SP120L PWM fans cool each 120mm radiator while blowing air down and over the hashing boards. Two 120mm red LED Corsair fans bring in fresh air from the front of the case while a further 120mm Corsair fan exhausts warm air out the back. Noise levels are reasonable at normal ambient temperatures as all fans are PWM controlled and react to temperature conditions. It is noteworthy that the unit may struggle to reach 1.1TH in high ambient conditions (30C+). https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8579/15905894515_155bfe6c72_b.jpg (https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8579/15905894515_8ed6160653_o.jpg) https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8642/15718605190_9c37f6ed09.jpg (https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8642/15718605190_0baeeb8a44_o.jpg) https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8666/15286234813_bf2f6221b8.jpg (https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8666/15286234813_4de2cfefe3_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7511/15880120346_26b09ca14e.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7511/15880120346_db74bc55ea_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7479/15905793725_19380f5553.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7479/15905793725_4cfb508606_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7480/15718319668_8655e667d6.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7480/15718319668_595bac810e_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7537/15905788505_9504914fbc.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7537/15905788505_fb90a6393b_o.jpg) https://i.imgur.com/AXm1t8k.png https://i.imgur.com/AXm1t8k.png 3) Case (top) (#post_contents) The Apollo's case is a repurposed Corsair 230T, which works remarkably well. A custom metal plate creates mounting points for the PCBs while another board fills the I/O slot with the USB port. External dimensions of the case are 505 x 210 x 440mm. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7550/15880425456_d47cf075f8.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7550/15880425456_da79a1e50d_o.jpg) https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8607/15286387243_32218ab084.jpg (https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8607/15286387243_55e6230a04_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7481/15718554468_43bbe57749.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7481/15718554468_34863e3202_o.jpg) https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8601/15720103757_1d747d7973.jpg (https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8601/15720103757_4e7289a5a8_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7554/15720260337_1ba5eb0c91.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7554/15720260337_544cf39e6c_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7560/15718891790_793516a80a.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7560/15718891790_90dece6f76_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7552/15718716690_8ea83dfe62.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7552/15718716690_9ec3c009c2_o.jpg) https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7565/15880215076_e1b7827ec1.jpg (https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7565/15880215076_829acd4648_o.jpg) https://i.imgur.com/AXm1t8k.png 4) Configuration (top) (#post_contents) The Apollo can be run on any CGMiner based device. Good job on guide.
Will you be testing their Scrypt or Zeus units? Title: Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive HashCoins Apollo Setup [HD] Post by: dogie on December 02, 2014, 11:21:23 PM Looks very nice. Had these specifications actually been shipped out last year by Hashfail they would have been worth having. IMHO this rig is an entire year late. I hope they don't have masses of them in stock. :-\ Title: Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive HashCoins Apollo Setup [HD] Post by: Bicknellski on December 03, 2014, 09:13:58 AM h/w manufacturers seem to be going backwards in terms of efficiency.
