Title: KnC damaged board...is it safe to plug in??
Post by: Blazed on December 03, 2014, 03:09:54 AM
This board was damaged during shipping. I do not know what those little square pieces are for, but I assume without them it is not safe to run it?

Im going to take a stab in the dark and say no don't run it, as it most likely would void the warranty (if any) and cause problems.

I am no expert in this field though, so maybe someone else may be able to give you better advice :P

Yeah I have the miner running with just the other 3 boards. I see a few people that buy damaged gear so maybe they will want this!

Or you can go to local electronic shop and buy 2 more and fix it yourself.

Lots of people i know do that if shipment is damaged or malfunction they go buy and fix it.
In most of cases everything works, but there is always that small amount that cant be fixed.
