rename it ohmygod.conf
copy paste the conf text from op in your newly created conf file
close/save file

The idea behind open source software is that anyone can use it, copy it, screw around with it.  You already know the point of this software, it is used to send "coins" between wallets.  So what you are really asking is for the dev to convince you to participate.  I can accept the point of view that the world doesn't need any more cryptocurrencies in it but what I cannot comprehend is why someone with that point of view would spend their time posting on a cryptocurrency announcement forum. 

Point being, if you don't like the coin, or the way the thread looks, why do you want to be convinced to invest?

Libleveldb.a and libmememv.a could get stuck. Suggest to run "male clean",also delete build folder and rebuild.
Or as trick,when compiling wallets in windows,got several time stuck on leveldb, even after "TARGET_OS=NATIVE_WINDOWS make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a" command.
90% times got success copyng the entire leveldb from original ones.
If you still got stuck building your pool, i could send you original compiled "ohmygodd" files. Surely it will work. It's linux native.

You will not find any blocks with just 1 mh , so we need more miners and more hash to find blocks   :) but i see the miners dont want to spread the hash so move to another pool with more miners on it

You shouldn't just pick out the part of the update that you want to complain about and act like the rest doesn't exist. I would say the dev is putting in the effort since there is a new wallet coming out. The community is not a dev's slave but if the community wants the coin to succeed then they should do their part. If you have mined this coin then you should want to do your part to get it listed on an exchange and see a return for your investment.

Any coin is not the dev's coin, it is the communities coin. Want the coin to succeed, then help.

Sometimes community wants quick exchangers to sell,dump and move next. Sometimes is the community that kill coins.
I don't know, but fact that dev is waiting for pow end before list on exchangers sound good to me. By the way, it's only 2 million coins.

I agree I believe that is to end the POW period before being listed on exchanges, to prevent unnecessary dumps.

I am still holding on to my Findyoucoin's but I do agree with you. An early exchange was not good. The dev's idea was for people to use these coins as bounties to find scam dev's. Instead it has just become an easy way for people to get free coins and sell for a little profit. This further proves that the community plays a major part in whether or not a coin survives.

Great name, nice logo and low premine give this coin huge potential. Dev, I understand that you created this coin as a pump and dump coin, but really, with this premise you should contact some professional devs and create something big of this or contact people like IE or Coinflipper or Blonde to help you pump this coin. When it hits c-cex and then bittrex it will be worth at leat x50 current price when played good. Compare it with FIBRE which has similar number of coins.

DEV, please do POD. It will give you free promotion of the coin and bigger axchanges might be more eager to list you. You don't have anything to hide, premine is low and you deserve it, let's make this coin into something big! It won't replace bitcoin but it has huge potential to give us a great ride for the next few months.

Why diff is so high?

Probably people hoping that this coin will git much higher value when we hit Bittrex. But the question is will it hit it - dev seems to be rather waiting for the community to take matters in their own hands instead of doing the job by himself. This coin is a gamble. You might lose everything but you might win lots of money if it follows Diode's steps. All is upon the dev and community now.

OMG don't compare this coin to Bitcoin. This is about picking a right coin that will go up before falling down. At this point I don't see any reason why OMG might go anywhere beyond 1000 satoshi.

This is an honest coin with a funny concept behind.
Will release a new wallet version after poW end and working on a custom linux distro.
Main purpose of this coin is to attract if possible people outside cryptoworld,that's why i choose OMG as name and concept.
People outside crypto world surely are not interest in "Anon trans,encrypted message,inwallet trade etc etc". It's not hard to release in future another wallet with thoose features. But it's not my interest give to this coin thoose features.

This coin is working good so far as code,mining and still waiting stake start.

Is some of you is interest in join team as promoter,will give full access to twitter etc to make a daily promotion. In case, PM.

I was working yesterday with c-cex,interest in add OMG. there were some problems compiling wallet. I will push a new "clean" source on github with the release of the new wallet, so c-cex could add OMG.

When we git Bittrex it will skyrocket, when we hit c-cex the coin will get exposed to smart asses who are buying new coins on c-cex and then selling them after they skyrocket on bittrex. But the thing is they don't know that the rules of the game have cahnged and now there is one exchange before c-cex. So we are one step ahead of them. Look at FIBRE coin which has similar number of coins to this one - I hope we follow Fibre's steps - just check their prices - over 130 000 satoshi at some point and they started just like us - with 400 sat.

Remember only 1,8 M coins from POW. Don't sell cheaply and steak for 55% of interest as long as we hit at least 10k sats.

Seriously, company it to FIBRE. 10k was not even the beginning for them. 130k was their peak, we can do at least half of it. If dev delivers of course.

I just replaced the old ohmygod.exe with the new ohmygod.exe (from the new wallet). So don't delete the old wallet, but only replace the .exe.

I have 2 addnodes in the config file: addnode=54.68.56.102 and addnode=94.37.143.55.

Don't name your config file OMG.conf, cause then the config will not work.

This coin seems interesting with it's cool name, simplicity and high staking percentage. The dev should work on communication though. I hope that our road will be like this C-CEX ---> Bittrex ---> great profits ---> downfall. This is by no means a coin to stay for many months but it seems to be cool pump and dump ride, so get on the train!

That's because everyone is staking right now and noone want's to do anything about being added to the new exchanges before they want to multiply their coins for as long as possible and just wait for someone else to contact C-Cex and Bittrex. But noone is going to do this because people are greedy egoistic bitches. :D If you are reading this and are not acting (contact the exchanges) you will be multiplying worthless coin.

Dev did not vanish. He clearly stated that he is willing to develop the coin in fair way but the rest is to be done by the community. He clearly stated this from the beginning, so everything is OK. But noone in this community seems to care and this is why the coin is not going anywhere. Everyone is greedy and just staking, waiting for the others to do something.

I've been trading for a while but this Binance sh** is completely new to me. Price on ETH/OMG pair was 8.31$ and I had put in an order for 8.70$...price stayed at 8.31 for 5 minutes and my order didn't get filled. And after that price jumped to 9.82$. What kind of scam are they pulling there? Its impossible to buy something at Binance. LOL
