I bought 7700 BTCD, at .30 cents each. Then had it stolen by a keylogger. Would be worth over $30,000 today :(

Did you ever find out where the keylogger came from? What antivirus software and firewall were you using?

well community coin was free and i dumped the shit out of it for like 2.3 BTC in the days where i'd never seen even .5 BTC.

Vericoin, made from 3 BTC 12 BTC. I really believed in that coin but unfortunately it didn't have a happy ending for them

Litecoin, bought 6000 at $2 each, sold at $25, made $150k

Definately VeriCoin. I mined just over 250k VRC and sold after the big pump. I got out at just above 30k sat for a profit of almost 80 BTC (minus the cost of power).

It's sad to see the state of VRC now. There will always be a spot in my heart for VRC.

I bought a second GPU in 2012 for $200.  The profits from mining were reinvested into more GPUS, more rigs, eventually a farm.  Now ASIC miners.  That $200 is now about $400k in assets netting $50k a week in BTC, LTC, DOGe, VTC.

Dogecoin, I hope.

I don't really ever profit in bitcoin (or fiat), I just trade continually backward and forward increasing my holdings in a select group of cryptos.

I like people who say they made 50k-100k something like that.  You ask them how much did they put in and its 10-30k of real money.  I mean, what in the fuck.  If you are rich enough to put 30k in crypto you should do something else, like go diving in the south pacific or something.  if you arent and its all you have, may god have mercy on your soul

altcoins are very high beta investment, should be treated something like lottery tickets.

Anybody that put in money in 2012-2013 experienced some great profit, you had to be very unlucky or impatient to NOT profit.

I think my best altcoin trade was LTC @ 0.005 and selling around 0.03.

Now we are back to these depressed prices again, good time to buy.

Anyone who seriously trades here knows the liquidity (except shortterm flavor of the day pump n dumps) is too small in most alts to make serious profits, for constant volume litecoin/bitcoin is where the trading game is at most the time.

While I was in slush pool, I found 3 blocks within few hours, if I solo mined it would of been 75btc

Last nov I made $350,000 from less than $10k but I didn't sell any of my coins so it was all paper profit which are now down by 90%.  Didn't hold any BTC - just alts.  Alts are the way to go this next boom as well. Just choose wisely.

Top alts I would recommend for a possible 100 fold increase in your Bitcoins:   BLUE, MAX, START, DOGE, IXC, LTC, DGC, DGB....and a few other really oversold alts.

I actually owned 2 Million Quark which cost me nothing but sold way way too early.  That was the biggest winner last boom.  We should have a few of those this time around given many billions will be pumped into Bitcoin and crypts this coming year.  Load up now and don't sell too early like 95% did last time.
