Look up dogie's thread about different manufacturers. He has a good run down of all the major manufacturers.

Are you making money on EC2?  I had not seen a CPU coin worth mining in a while.

There's only 2 worth considering:

1. Bitmain has the price advantage.
2. Spondoolies has the quality advantage.

+1

Although I think Spondoolies has both the price and quality advantage at the moment. I just upgraded from 2 S3s to an SP20.

yeah I have sp20's and s-3's

they are the way to go.
The s-3 can be made to be quieter then the sp20.

If your power is cheap go heavy on s-3's light on sp20's
If you have more costly power do more sp20's.
I have some 50$ coupons for s-3's let me know if you want 2.  The minimum s-3 order is 2.

Read my thread on the sp20. I will try to run 5 sp20's and 6 s-3's.  underclock  them for a total of 9th

IMO Rockminer is a great company as well.  The new-rbox is great for hobby miners, GREAT!! I bought their old R-box and liked it a lot.
