My first phone (Nokia 3310) really miss it, now smart phones are out with HUGE improvements but no other phone has this amazing battery life.

Also one of the first phones I owned - ridiculously long battery life and a, by standards back then, great design to boot. Tough as well, I must have dropped it onto just about every hard surface there is  ;)

Yea, what got me was the size of it, I remember it was one of the smallest mobiles out there, when it came out.  

I am still keepin it old school actually, using nokia 6310i :) can't stand smartphones.

Nothing beats playing snake on a monochromatic phone screen for hours upon hours upon hours....

It didn't do anything special except for reliable phone calls.

I definitely do. I had a very similar one, but it had a long antenna on the right side. It didn't fit in my pocket it haha.

I got my first phone my i was in 12 standard.
It was a SAMSUNG phone and i was very happy with my phone at that time but now i hate that phone coz it was not android.

Not much, it was long time ago, I think in 1997.
I just remember that this mobile phone was very big and heavy and that some people was thinking that I listen radio or something :)

Mine was a Nokia 8210.

I loved it for being so small and at that time I thought I'd only buy even smaller phones. I was wrong!  ;D

I sure do remember my first cell phone.  It was back in 2000 and it was a Sanyo SCP4000.  As a phone, it was great.  You could drop it without worrying bout it breaking, the battery would last for days, and it lasted me almost 4 years.  Of course all it did was work as a phone, but it was still better quality than most of the phones these days.  Also, you didn't need to put the phone in a protective case so it wouldn't break, LOL.

I also liked the size of the phones back then, today they're far too light and thin.  Back then you knew if you had your phone on you, now they are easy to misplace in a pocket.

My first phone was from Sony CMD J5 (pre-Sony Ericsson) -  first phone with a camera was the NEC E616 in 2003

I miss the old school home phones for that very reason.  It was so satisfying to be able to slam the phone down on idiots. Such a great feeling.  You also know that the people knew what you did as well, because next time they talked to you, they apologized for being an idiot, LOL!

They were also good as a stand by weapon in case you ever needed one. The hand piece on those are SOLID.

I don't know what its called but it was one of them nokia phones that lighted up on the sides when it rang. Was pretty cool tbh.

I've got the Mobira Talkman, NMT450 in my attic somewhere, found it up there a few years ago.

I had exactly the same as in post 1 : the nokia 3310. A very solid and good mobile. But you couldn't keep very much sms, only 8 i think.

I can't remember the name of it now just know it was a nokia everyone had a nokia back then.

This topic just remembered me all my old childhood days, how we grew with a Nokia phone, playing space impact snake and using 2g data to watch 3g videos and downloading mp3 songs from wap sites, now looking for an old Nokia phone selling website and found this one they are selling old Nokia phone (https://thedealsguru.com/blog/top-selling-nokia-refurbished-mobiles) going to buy 2 3 phones for me and my family :p

That was year 2002 when I had this, my mom gave it to me as a gift on my birthday. What I love about my phone is it has composer and I can compose a melody.

The toughest cellphone ever created the Nokia 3210 as i also have this one that same year 2002-2004 and until now my 3210 is still working but of course i have saving it for memories .

Though my first Mobile Phone is Motorola i forget the Model because i lost it in taxi when i was drunk late 20000.

Back then Nokia phones was beasts. Strong battery endurance and it was hard to get any damage to the phone.
After that I changed to Nokia 3310, 3310 was smaller than 3210 and it was an improvement at that time.

Truth be told, it was on par with Nokia for it's "unbreakableness". I ran it over with a bike few times, not a scratch

Siemens c65 - I remember sending songs to each other through an IR port.

Nokia 3210 maybe splitting into each parts but when you combined them again then you will find that it is still working and nothing break a what it seems lol.

I accidentally fell my nokia3210 from an open 4 floors building and it was directly hit the floor but when i gather the pieces and put together again?it is still working lol.

These Nokia phones were really great Now these phones can not be seen without saying I used it myself My first mobile phone is the Nokia 2730 Classic. Nothing happened even after going from very high And nothing happened after that in the water The previous Nokia phones were very strong.

IIRC, my first phone was also a brand of Siemens but I can't remember the exact model of that phone. I was in Grade 6 when my parents gave me that phone.

I have no songs on that phone but it's just the ringtones.  ;D

Sony Ericsson along with Nokia phones were the two that were conquering the market back then.
The interesting fact is how the market changed and now companies that didn't exist they are now the key players in the market. If Nokia had followed the technological trends the would be still number one.

Not sure if i personally owned a Nokia 3310. I think I used them for small call business around 2003/2004 though. My first functional mobile phone was probably red in color and has somewhat rubbery physical keypad...very old phone even back then  I was really grateful having it.
 I also owned a Thuraya satellite phone I got from a relation, didn't really use it. It was actually my oldest phone. Took it to school always, even though it never worked :)

After a few years, my dad bought me a Nokia 3330 and I was so angry because I wanted a 3310 or a 3210.

My absolute favourite was probably the Nokia 8210. So small and elegant!

I do remember i had a siemens phone first, it was not a great phone to be honest, just simple phone with a very small display but even with that i was very happy.

I was a Snake master, but I always played on slow mode. All the other kids played fast mode, but they couldn't reach the length that I got.

I just notice that most us had nokia as our first mobile phone.

Its sad that they didnt make a phone with new features that can compete to other mobile phones nowadays.

Nevertheless its good to reminisce the old days.

I see that almost everyone had a 3310 phone back in time.
Maybe they used it or owned it doesn't matter.
It was the most mainstream and the best mobile phone before this trend with smartphones and all the technological advantages came up.

I think most of us were that age when Nokia's marketshare was overwhelming. They weren't able to continue that, but we mustn't forget that they brought about a lot of change. Although they obviously didn't invent the technology, they were the single most important player in popularizing phones with built-in cameras. That's something you couldn't imagine a phone not having nowadays.

I have been using this phone at the age of 15 with 1 year of saving pocket money.

My first phone was Nokia 6210. It was like the remote for TV. lol I couldn't afford to buy the Nokia 3210 when they released it, so only after few years I got a hand on phone, which was my Nokia 6210. I remember putting backlights in it.  ;D

It's was a great memories even i fell many time now. Me and my one friend was buying this phone same days. This phone was gifted my mom because i couldn't afford before so lucky for fell again.

I am really a fan of Nokia as well as my mom. If my mom wants to buy a new phone, it will always be nokia. We've got 3210, 3220, N95 and of course the best selling 6010. That 6010 made for almost 8 years. My mom decided not used it because we cannot find a good case for it due to phase out cases as well as batteries. I also brought my first nokia cellphone when I graduated highshool. That was Nokia Asha.

My first mobile phone was actually a co-shared dedicated car phone and another one that cold be portable but it could also double as a car phone as well. So that is a smaller Cellphone lol,i believe that 6100 and 7250 of nokia released at the same date September 2002.

That year 2008 there are so many new series from Nokia,since 6100 that time is already 6 years in the market.

Nokia 7210 phone is really good i have used it myself. Quality is the best in all respects has been in the market for a long time. If the quality went down there would be no place for trust even if the price goes beyond the reach of the common people it will not work. So he has always tried to keep the price of mobile stable many have come and gone. But over time that is likely to change as the days go by new technology things are happening this phone can't be seen now.

it was around 2009 and it was my birthday gift that my father gave me. Now I still keep that cellphone even though it can't be used anymore because it fell in my bathroom a few years ago.

couldn't afford it. i was a student back 2002 and the only i got is for the 5110. i already felt very cool with it. the only that is being used is just texting and calling. when the phones with colored screen and the music tones, it quickly becomes obsolete. everyone wants to have a phone with camera.

the movie "money heist"  featured old nokia phone because the phones that doesn't connect the internet is harder to track. i quickly look for my old phone. can;t find it anymore.

I was already 20 when i got my new phone which is motorola, before flip phones are good phones. Saving polytones, downloading old games like bomberman amd pacman.

You should be proud of your first phone because that memory will serve forever specially now that the Mobile is really hightech ,I missed using phone that only used for texting and Calling .
In my time 1660 is for The higher level of living because it is too expensive that time.

My first phone was Siemens C75. It was a beast of a phone for the price. I was able to extract extra 1MB from base 10MB of memory by deleting some useless preinstalled apps and files. Also, I recompiled and created my own modded java games on this phone, changing textures and such. Fun times.

My first phone was nokia 3315, brother of nokia 3310. Way too durable comparing to smartphones nowadays. Missing those days where space impact and snake are the games ;D

You can download them on your smartphone. Only the sentimental feeling of those keypads won't be brought back though huehue.

I remember my first phone, the Nokia 6310. This was a gift from my sister to me when i was in college, i liked the battery life and the snake game in games.

How i Missed the Nokia domination days , when almost everybody in My place has their Nokia Model phone .

My first phone was Siemens C55.. It was incredible when my parents bought it for me.. I'm still remember how my father came late from work after the Christmas holidays and gave it to me.. I was worried that there is no present for me this year but the surprise was really big 2days after Christmas. 

I remember this one , this is the Unit of my Cousin that we left in taxi when we were drunk , I also remember how She Cried for days because of the lost  ;D

Indeed 3310 is one of the best phone during early times. Too bad nokia stop producing phones that can compete to latest android/ios phone nowadays or did I miss something? I just based it on the market since I cant find a phone made by nokia.

YES. And I am actually still using it. I have used various keypad phones (these were not mine, just used). I did love those quality keypad java games that were popular at that time and wished to play all of them one day in my own phone. Well, that dint happen, but I had to buy a smartphone and took a different choice.

I think everyone's first phone was Nokia as that was the biggest company at that time. Later when the andriod came, they did not adopt the technology quickly and Samsung took over the market.

My first phone was a Nokia 3220. This phone is pretty much ahead of its time since it has RGB LEDs on its sides and light up for alerts and notifications. Had a camera and a customizable back plate (you can print your own design)

I don't remember my first phone, it was one from Siemens but I had to give it back because of some issues with it, in the end I ended up with the Nokia 3310 aswell. I had that one for a really long time, playing hours on hours of snake  ;D Good old days when you were limited to send text message to a few lines only.

Sure, my first phone was Motorola Moto Razr V3i, it was a gift from my uncle and I played every day snake on it!

My father have bought the phone first time that was Nokia's an model. I got phone after completing my 10+2 and that was a samsung smartphone.

Im asian, and my first phone was given to me when I was in college, it was an android phone so pretty much advance. But if you are asking for what phone I've used first that can be said mine, but not technically mine because it was my parents, then it was a nokia, don't know what series but it has a touch pad and a touch screen at the same time. complete as now, having a mobile phone at that time was a matter of pride. I bought the Samsung SGH R220 in 2002, and SGH R220 didn't
have a camera, because 2002 didn't really need a camera feature. I am very satisfied with the performance of the Samsung SGH R220 when using it.

The first mobile phone in my life was the BlackBerry 7290. Later, I lost this phone and replaced it with the 8700. Finally, I used the color screen. I can barely listen to songs and read e-books.

I remember, but there are no pictures. What a pity.

It wasn't my first mobile phone (that was also a Nokia), but my most favourite was the Iphone 4s. It was the first Iphone I got and it was just awesome. I still have to this day in a very good condition. From time to time I turn it on again just to see how far the tech went from back in the day. The old Ipods and Iphones were so cool because not many had them. Nowadays everybody has an Iphone.

How can I forget my first mobile phone, because when I first used the mobile phone I was very surprised at the sophistication of communication
technology at that time. That's why I always remember that the Siemens C35 is my first mobile phone, although the shape may not be as good
as Samsung or Nokia which more people use. But I am very satisfied with the performance of the Siemens C35, because as long as I use

actually i missed those kind of Unt with long lasting battery and components life.

My first mobile phone was Nokia 3310 and it is also my favorite. Its design performance size are all like my mind that's why I bought it I waited and waved to him the day the first official came lost after two and a half years of use. This Nokia phone was very popular at that time but is now on the verge of extinction.

I got it way back the early 2000 as a hand me down gift from my brother.

Oh yes, it was a pink Nokia, I was proud of that color.
