No mention is made of any licensing signed with the Monopoly owners. I would not invest before I see proof of that. They will be in court and the Monopoly owners will crush them like a bug.

Royalties needs to go to the creator.

Yes this is something I would be very careful of, I had a similar Idea with Milk but ran into the same problem.

im not associated with project but you could comment there project and ask, im pretty sure it would worldwide shipping it would be a wanted by people in so many different countries.

This guy will make a fortune IMO , fair play and well done dude.


also i dont think copywrite is a problem there is lots of custom boards.

i have done some research and lots of companies make these games. as long as o is not called "monopoly" by itself is perfetly legal. i also read an article about a gut who made his own game and is still in production!!! by a major company,
this could actually do really well if the right investors get on board.

40,000$ crowdfunding? A huge amount for a "monopoly". Also the design isn't nice currently...you should work on it and posting your request then again.

It's a neat idea. What would be awesome is if each player managed a wallet with small units of real bitcoin.  You could get rid of all that paper money in the game.

Yeah and you use no monopoly money / banking terminal, but a TREZOR :D

lol... think it could do good imo though i will be buying one soon :) i dont think the actual picture is the real design because he states that the pictur could change and im sure hes not gonna create some crap game for nothing when he could net a shit tonne of money for perfectly designed game, he does say that a company will be printing these so i think quality would be good too.

Yeah, I think the idea sounds quite cool. I'm looking forward to hear more from it and I will buy one game 100% after the release ;)

Monopoly is a trademark, and trademark is protected.  ;)

I would call it Antitrust: the Monopoly Buster. Make a bitcoin game that decentralizes everything.

I think you can ask money from guys like coinbase, bittrex, bitpay and so on :) If the game will be popular - it would be a good brand promotion.
