Title: Dollar vs Euro affect on Bitcoin price Post by: Elwar on December 08, 2014, 08:57:07 AM It looks like the Euro has taken quite the fall over the past week as part of a downward trend that has been going on for about 7 months (price was $1.25 per euro last week, now down to $1.22) In May it was $1.39.
The bitcoin price is reflecting the difference with the euro price being around 300 EUR/BTC and the dollar price around 368 USD/BTC. What do you believe will happen with the Euro/Dollar and what affect do you believe that will have on the bitcoin price? It's just a curency 'war', we'll see who's printing money faster than the other and how ratings will influence the whole 'war'. My guess would be the € will bounce back at 1.20 for some reason as he always did.
Will this have an effect on the BTC-price? Nope. The fiat 'price' (or better ratio) is always the same, USD, €, CNY etc. - it does not matter. Guess there are some arbitrage-bots running. :D Title: Re: Dollar vs Euro affect on Bitcoin price Post by: rogerdonkey on December 09, 2014, 04:35:42 AM What will happen with the €/USD?
