Title: SkyHook Bitcoin ATM.. For personal Bitcoin purchase?
Post by: joshv06 on December 09, 2014, 12:25:09 AM
So there have been times where I needed Bitcoin quickly and didn't want to buy Bitcoin at a higher price locally or wait for money to transfer to an exchange.

I have been thinking..

Can I just buy a SkyHook Bitcoin ATM, put the fee at 0% and buy Bitcoin when I needed? Does Skyhook take a fee? Does the BTC in the amount get deducted from your bank or how?

I feel like my math is wrong somewhere lol. Does anyone do this?

Josh

You need to load the skyhook with your own bitcoins, skyhook doesn't sell the bitcoins. You make a blockchain.info wallet, link them through the backend, and it vends from there.

I understand now. Thanks.

I thought the Skyhook Software would have a backend that would take it out of a bank or something.

Thanks!
