Post by: JohnnyBTCSeed on December 10, 2014, 04:42:02 PM
Without admitting the therapeutic or potentially medicinal properties of cannabinoids, the US Government quietly holds a patent on the therapeutic use of cannabinoids. Known as the 507 patent, US Patent # 6,630,507 involves the research performed by the National Institutes of Health.

Why do you say 'secretly' when the information is publicly available?

Traffic.  :D
It's always gota be a grand conspiracy. I did not read the patent, but I'm sure it does not say that the government has a patent on medical use of MJ. I suspect it is a patent on a specific technique or method. Perhaps one they developed.

Good point. Because it is hidden in plain site in a very large database. The official stance of federally arresting medical cannabis users is used to mislead one away from the fact that they openly admit to the medicinal properties.

However thanks for being the grammar police, you get my point anyway..

You could also say every other patent ever registered is secretly hidden then.
