Title: cann cannabis coin recover or not?
Post by: paytplay on December 10, 2014, 04:44:18 PM
If you have been here a tad, you know that cannabis coin is/was a top contender for the best alt coin ever. There were/are premine issues and other than that it seems mostly all has been taken care of and they are moving forward.

What I really want to know, if the premine is still an issue with anyone, or are you over it? other successful coins had premines....

Do you think they can accomplish what they set out to do?

Lastly, if you think this coin has no future as alt, explain yourself and tell me which alt coin stands a chance if cannabis coin does not

I fail to see the reason why cannabis coin, dope coin, 420coin, sativa, weed, [insert weed slang term here] coin is needed at all. We already have better coins with better liquidity.

I can think of two reasons to not use a pot or other drug named coin.

1. Maybe you live in an area it is illegal to posses. You get busted for some possession, then they see your stash of weedcoins. Bam, additional charges might get filed here. Maybe a paraphernalia charge or a dealing charge.

2. How many people want the government to have a record of every pot related purchase you make with one of these cannabis coins? I think people want a little more privacy.

Yes it will likely go up again when the harvest comes through in mid January, if the Dev can also branch out into Colorado then it could go to the moon

People used bitcoin on the first silk road because they thought it was anonymous. The last thing they wanted was a coin with a name like cannabis coin that tells the whole wold what you are using it for.
