Title: [NOC] NoCoin -Proof of Concept-
Post by: HCLivess on December 10, 2014, 09:24:26 PM
NoCoin is an incentive experiment with the following properties:

When users mine, they secure the network
When users do not mine, they receive the reward

The purpose of this experiment is to find out what is more valuable for the NoCoin users, if it is the security of their network or simply the number of NoCoins in their wallet, which disappears with no network security.

When users mine, they secure the network
When users do not mine, they receive the reward

If users are mining they should get rewards too right?

The reward for mining is network security, but no NoCoins. NoCoins are rewarded only to users who do not mine (e.g. everyone but the hash solver)

ok, but I'll tell you right away:

No one's gonna waste their hash and money on something that doesn't pay while they're mining it.

Yes, you are right. Peoples love reward which they can change on $
Network security as a reward will not be appreciated by people.

It's an interesting idea. But people are too greedy, it is our fault)

You can receive YesCoin if you mine and NoCoin if you don't. ;D ;D ;D

Thank you for the inputs. I think you are right. This is just a thought experiment.  :)
Maybe I will create it just to test how many people will try to hack it :D

I don't think there's anything interesting about expecting people to waste electricity without gaining coins that hold value.

change it to this

not mining gain coins ( from solved blocks by miners )

wen your mining you gain a % base of the coins in our wallet per day  * based on the % of hashrate u provide to the network*

this way it works some what like a torrent ( to many peeps leeching and every one hardly gets coins but nice equal distribution )

also sins miners want more coins in there wallets to generate the most amount of coins per day
there will be an active buy support on the coin :)
now that i think of it this might solve the problems of huge mining pools mining it all

I've wanted to see a coin where all miners on the network share every block solved not just block solver.  Communist coin!

As far as I understand; it's going to be free distrubution or ICO/IPO shit.
Miners will approve txes for nothing, but coin keepers will get reward like PoS.

I wouldn't invest in a coin like that...
