Title: big mistake on electrical components order please help need cheapest fix Post by: ChineseSavior on December 11, 2014, 07:02:18 AM made an error guys
so I ordered a bunch of nema 6-20 to c13 plugs for my psu's (- | ) turns out my dad hadd an error and it is actually a nema 6-15 plug (- -) Now that i already have the plugs (and a power strip) for 6-20, i will need to either buy a series of convertes (which I cannot seem to find) or rma the cords and pay exchange fees etc. Looking for a cost effective solution for my mine as this company isnt open atm so tracking down some conversion plugs for cheat or something would be nice :/ Title: Re: big mistake on electrical compents order please help need cheapest fix Post by: sidehack on December 11, 2014, 10:42:10 AM You could buy screw-on ends of the proper type, cut the old ends off and wire the proper onto the existing cords.
You could resell the cords and buy new. You could buy a sack of wire nuts, cut all the ends off and hardwire everything. You could buy a 6-20 socket to replace the wall outlet and work from that. You could invent time travel? You could invent time travel? all of these are valid. The cords you have dont match the outlets - there isnt really a cheap solution to this besides re installing the correct outlet or buying the correct cord Title: Re: big mistake on electrical compents order please help need cheapest fix Post by: ChineseSavior on December 11, 2014, 08:21:21 PM i think im going to go with time travel so i can have some type of legacy besides smelling like mmj and pizza
