Anybody willing to buy a legendary, default trusted account will be doing so to scam.

To any potential buyers, there is a good chance that you will be easily caught so be careful.

You could probably quite work out what account this is with these stats. You should also state a price because nobody knows what your opinion of a 'lowball offer' may be.

Going from other threads I would think he could easily get 1BTC for it? The fact that he is advertising the trust level does not sit well with me though  :-[ Obviously you do not need positive trust for signature campaigns...

I think a legendary account worth ~1.5 - 2 BTC , but I think no-one will risk this amount of bitcoin for this account.

1btc is probably reasonable (though he may consider this a low-ball offer). Selling accounts with positive green trust does add more value but also increases the chance it is to be bought for some kind of scam, but that being said it's very likely not worth taking the risk as accounts are usually busted as soon as they try scam. Even ones bought to abuse the feedback system usually get found out pretty quick and removed and/or ruined with negative feedback themselves.

If it is in default trust then it is worth more then 1 BTC probably closer to at least 2-3 BTC. The buyer can try to scam with it but doing so would be stupid because it is not difficult to get it removed from default trust when it shows signs of scams.

A potential use would be to start a business that requires trust ( for example selling gift cards or for lending collateral loans - escrow can add enough time for this process that it may turn away potential borrowers)

The most likely kind of account used to potentially scam is one with positive trust but not on default trust and these should really not be traded

Yeah, 'green' trust is more valuable and merely being on default trust doesn't really mean much by itself, but a person in control of the account can use it to bolster his alts with feedback (and also leave negative (but abuse this way will likely get you removed from it if it's unjust)).

To most people being on default trust is in itself a stamp of being able to be trusted (even though it was not designed to be this way) in some people's eyes.

I think it does walk a fine line to advertise a default trust account like this but there are non scam reasons to buy an account like this.

Edit: I think most people would consider giving your competition to be scamming

May I ask why you're selling your account, and whether you plan to be active on the forums through another username at all or are you done with this forum? What about your involvement in Bitcoin in general (still going to continue or called it quits)

Send me your BIN for this account.
Take down the stat count immediately...go remove a few rep now to prevent users from finding out.

If done, I will buy.

Any measure you going to take so the account won't be used to scam?

Or are you planning to damage someone by saying his or her account has been sold, so he/she should be removed from depth 2 trust?

Please message me what segvec offers and I'll beat his offer, assuming your account has not been traced by your explanation of what your account trust history is.

Looking at waterpile's feedback its obvious that waterpile is an account that is being built up to be sold. Beware of the account.

Not a scammer. Tired of people refusing to do business with me because of seeing that "trade with caution" page. I escrowed as much as $5000 back in the day here on bitcointalk and people claim I scammed for what was worth $250 at the time. It was a transaction that fell thru and I still offer to make it whole to this day if the user unhappy will let it go and remove all feedback regarding the situation.

I always have offered to use escrow or send first to those higher trusted than me and will continue to do so. Just tired of not being able to get a coin or two when I need it so I need this account.

To answer a few questions;
- the privacy of the account is safe, I took the necessary steps to make sure it will not be identified. It comes with disposable email address that was created long time ago, so you dont even have to change the forum password.
- I will not reveal the identity of the account here or in pm before a price is agreed upon and the money is in escrow.
- I dont care how its used. Trust  system is what it is, I didnt make it.  Forum rules are what they are. I did not make them.  If someone trusts only based on  ve on this forum with these rules, he is going to be scammed anyway.
- I will use the money to buy a private island and retire there.

Highest bid is 2 BTC and I will accept the offer if nothing better comes before end of year.
