Title: Massive decrease in payouts the past 24 hours..??
Post by: spazzdla on December 12, 2014, 09:17:43 PM
Anyone else noticing this?  By massive I mean zero payouts from my pool...  I have never seen that before although it is possible.

I'll tell u why & i wondered if anyone else had noticed.....

Go to

https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?referral_id=220-4724

Please use my ref link if ur not already a member.... Costs u nothing & gets me a little

On the login page before u log on has the current Alt coin to BTC price

If u scroll down to the bottom underneath that is the current

Block, Difficulty & Network speed for 20 diff Aly Coins + The current for BTC...

During the week The speed of the network is around 450,000,000.0000

The speed on the weekend for BTC (In particular - Cause thats what i mine)  has been going down buy around 200,000,000.0000,

This a approx half the speed of the network, The speed  (& i would hate to speculate but this is the thread to do that right??)

Tells me that someone or a group of people (Maybe a certain company who seems to be creating about 80% of the current miners on the network) I'm not going to say who i think it is but im pretty sure i know & i'd be able to a statistical analysis on proving this...

Is pre-mining on the rigs they are currently making & they do this monday to friday - Work days people!
When they go home on fridays they turn them off.. Don't wanna start a fire if you've got no one around to look after your gear or good fire a service in there region wouldn't want to lose the potential money they would lose buy losing the the entire stock...

This is not a cloud hashing service & im 100% on that cause a cloud hashing service - Cause there servers would be on 24/7, If they were ripping them off they would just change the figures to steal from them by adding a hidden fee.

This cant be possible since the Network speed is going down so much to the point i notice it & along the course of time this has been getting bigger & bigger...  its too noticeable now for an average joe miner to ask the question

Anyone else noticing this?  By massive I mean zero payouts from my pool...  I have never seen that before although it is possible.

Normal home miners with an average of 1th to maybe 10 th should all be noticing the change on the weekend if u never switch off ur machines (I use BTC guild & a group p2pool with not many users on & notice it bigtime)

Home miners use there miners full time don't switch theres off at home, Cause weather u mine a PPS (Pay Per Share) or at PPLNS (I think thats what its called) cause on this system you don't start getting full rate till around 3 days after starting your machine. its stops pool jumpers i believe, Now theres no pool jumpers here & this is clear cause jumping pools the Network speed would not slow down.

This & i'd like to put money on it since BFL SUCKS ARSE there rigs are no longer running let alone being sold.

All you would need to do prove this would be have access to this data & i'm not sure if someone @ vicurex could provide there daily statistics for the last year for the normal average weekday speed between Monday & Friday & on the weekend what the difference is & watch it increase over the year Or (Decrease on the weekend as it maybe)

Then u would need the ip address (Or addresses) or the addresses who seem to be making a lot coin one one or a few ip addresses

Another way would be to look at addresses ( I'm only going to use this as an example they are not currently on P2P but it has been till it worked out p2p is PPLNS in nature.)

This is the block on P2Pool im using as an example:

334083   Sat Dec 13 2014 14:33:57 GMT+1100 (AUS Eastern Daylight Time)   00000000000000000ff34d227b1d32f91061be16cce8a039613c330b699152fb

On the last block that P2Pool got from address (1PGwNprChx745u6XdbcHttf7Y2MAaqXhsF) his take home was 4.85619383  that alone is 25% for the total P2P block fee for that round (Now you need to know was my hashing amount for that round was 1th approx

My BTC address : I'm sure someone can verify this using one of the blockchain sites was

: 1Cu7RRSFtWBxtU6Go9bG5Yn4gTwfqjCciU & my payout was (Which i still haven't received mine u??) is meant to be 0.00738605 BTC

Lets do some simple math

User one received 4.85619383 & i received 0.00738605 lets divide the 2 to to find out the answer :

Equals = 657.4818515986217TH people, Lets for argument sake i've over estimated & its approx 500th

How many miners would that be well 500 more than what ive got who would have the power to do this & its not a mining group or a home user for that matter. The only people who would have this size power would or could be governments or a companies making miners.

They are mining on a PPS on a pps system so it doesn't matter when they are finding blocks cause they are half the network. The speed has been decreasing but the difficulty hasn't, it still went up although only slightly.

If your not already a user of : https://vircurex.com/welcome/index?referral_id=220-4724

Please use my link to join

Please correct me if u think im wrong & state your reasons why or alternatively ask me more questions on how & why i think this way. im open to criticism & or reason...

But this seem like it all falls into place..

I bailed from Slush's pool after the 2 days of ultra poor payouts and went over to BTC Guild yesterday.

Swing and a miss...

From what I have read this was the single worst day in BTC Guild history, and perhaps Slush's as well.

BTCGuild had a really, REALLY bad day. It had been a great week until today.  :(

BTCguild has had a lot of problems for a while now. A couple of months ago they has ~5 weeks of very bad 'luck' which resulted in them "closing" the option of mining PPS as it was costing the PPLNS miners too much

If u follow my example the network speed is back upto 346,024,061.9341.

Up by 100,000,000.0000

Probably just due to good luck variance not actual hashrate increase. Miners found a bunch of blocks quickly, most likely.

Never sell an untested product IMO.

A new batch of miners from Bitmain or Spondoolies is hardly noticeable when added to the network.
