i have registered an account but after a little reading about the switching over to the new forum software does that mean newbies will lose their account or is abosulte everything being transfered over?

Your account will be transfereed over there is no official annoucement that they are deleting anyones account.

Its stickied in this sub-forum it has all the things which are going to be functional on the new forum well hopefully.

It's really up to the owner. A good reason is maybe for people to actually come to the site and not have unauthorized 3rd parties syndicate content?

When is the new forum software going to be rolled out? I am dying to try it out. Very eager to have an avatar on the forum.
