I actually got up to 6 at one point  :-\ but I made it out with a 3.5BTC profit. I played multihand Blackjack and played all three seats at a time while tracking wins and losses. After a couple hundred hands, betting very small amounts, I saw that my far left hand was winning/pushing 58% of the time while the middle was 50%, and the far right was 55%. So I increased my bets on the outer two hands and used the middle one as a throway hand, sometimes making it bust or stay on purpose to ensure ensure the left-most hand won. I ended up with a 59% win/push percentage on the far left after 1000+ hands. It was a long, slow grind but it was lots of fun :)

The hardest part was trying not to go full tilt after losing like 10 hands in a row, but that's the name of the game I guess. Anyone else play like this or had a different blackjack strategy?

ALong with this, you should also post a transaction ID, to prove you got your winnings :P
And so people know you are not just here to promote the website.

For me, I have never had more than a streak of 10 on Blackjack, however on Dice it has been significantly higher.

Yeah, I use a completely different approach. I don't gamble lately, but when I used to, I will first set a target.
I don't play 1000+ hands etc. Not even 50. I will play a couple of times, non-small bets.
And I will withdraw immediately as I hit the target.

I will also play like this. Deposit, play, make a profit, Withdraw initial deposit + a % of profit, play, .... rinse and repeat.

I just play for the fun. Nothing serious. :D

Yeah, you should post the txid of that withdrawal transaction.
And possibly a screenshot. There have been many instances of promoting new sites like this. I am not saying you are one of them, but it is good if you do so.

Patience and basic blackjack strategy, really. I played well over 1,000 hands, probably 2,000.

Even I have a Win story of blackjack which im famous for.
I had my last 0.07 btc and turned them into 0.7, I was so proud of me, and I bought my first shiny smartphone with it.

Thats a nice win. I don't play much blackjack, due to the higher house edge. But I have never been able to get my BR more than 3-4x.

I don't think so. It's basically pointless to try and count cards when you don't know how many decks are being used or how many cards have been played in the shoe. Betchain doesn't indicate a number of decks.

Did you just use the Basic Blackjack Strategy, or did you use something else.

I've been playing around a lot with BlackJack, tracking all my wins etc.

Pretty much. The only deviation from basic strategy was that I did not double down on soft 17 vs a bust card, since I got burned the majority of the time doing that in the beginning.

Watching it now. One thing I did notice that bothered me was in the "double exposure" Blackjack where both the dealer's cards are showing. The table says "dealer must hit on soft 17," but does not. I played a little of that game, but you have to change your strategy completely, so it was weird.


I suppose you could as long as you know the position in the shoe. Five decks isn't too much to keep up with, but remember counting cards doesn't make you automatically able to beat the house, it just gives you an educated indicator of when to bet big because the probably of getting two face cards is much higher.

You can't really count in online casinos. They are continuous shuffle and don't know # of decks

This.  It's impossible to count cards in online casinos, because they automatically shuffle the deck(s) after every hand.

For the guys who want to try it out, remember to track your hands. The spreadsheet I made was pretty simple, just counted "W" "L" or "P" (win, loss, or push) for each seat and divided  (W+P)/(W+P+L) to find out the percentage of non-losing hands. You could just count a push as a win if you want, but I like keeping them separate in order to track winning streaks. Have patience, and I mean PATIENCE. I played well over 12 hours over the days I was playing.

OH! Make sure you have enough to cover a long losing streak. They WILL happen. I played with 30-40X my bet, but general BJ strategy actually suggests 100X. This also helps you with the emotional aspect. It doesn't "hurt" as much to lose 1/100th of your stack so you can stick to strategy without tilting. The worst losses I suffered were when I was trying to make my money back. Just put in the time and stay consistent, and it should pay off.

Haven't played again since I cashed out, but I probably will after I get back from vacation in January.

okay, I lied about not playing again  :P... I just put in 2BTC and cashed out with 2.62BTC. This time was a real battle. 270 hands played, 55% win/push on the left and center hands, 51% on the right. I had some really long losing streaks, and actually got down to about 0.2 BTC before having a very nice winning streak up to 2.62 before I called it a night and cashed out.

Its always a good thing to stop while ahead in gambling. I gave up gambling a while ago and only play poker.
Its the most important lesson I could take away from it.

Is there any tips you can share to us all about how you won your game ? did you use martingale or a new strategy or you're just being lucky enough ?

Aside from using basic blackjack strategy, I'd say my strategy has to do with tracking streaks, especially losing streaks. The last time I played, looking at my hands, it was significantly more likely that I would lose 3 hands in a row rather than winning after two losing hands. Sometimes these streaks lasted for 8 hands in a row. After two losses in a row, I minimized my bets to 1mBtc. Similarly, I played winning streaks by increasing my bets after 2 winning hands in a row sometimes betting very aggressively, 100mBtc per seat (300mBtc total).

I think keeping track of my hands really just takes the emotion out of it, sometimes taking a few minutes in between hands to analyze my data and see what has been going on. I don't really think the statistics are very indicative of what is to happen, but it is a great way to analyze how you have been playing and make decisions from there.

Yesterday I played again and profited 0.9 BTC  ;D So far I have profited 5.02 BTC total.

Great job man! Better set aside ~3.5BTC to save. Wouldn't want a losing streak forcing you to consider betting everything.  :)

Thanks, I've cashed out all the profits actually. Some went into savings, some into Christmas presents and vacation money.

I've turned the profits into fiat, kind of hedging against the trending decline in BTC/USD, but I still hold onto some BTC to see what happens in the long-term.

Played again today, made another 0.924 BTC.  ;D

After tracking my hands and my balance, I decided to graph it. I played pretty sloppy today, honestly. I started out great, then tilted for a while and clawed my way back into the green. Should've cashed out at 1BTC profit, once I got over 3000mBTC I just started betting the difference and ended up falling back to 3000mBTC even. Anyway, here's the graph and my deposits page.

If you are referring to the "playing blackjack" part, it is impossible as you can only play dice there.
If you are referring to the "turned 1 BTC into 6.9" part, you can do it if you are lucky.

You could definitely turn 1 BTC into 6.9 on primedice, but by playing dice.
I see a lot of people using strategies while playing Blackjack, but for dice there isn't a successful one, as its more of a pure gamble.

this just makes me want to play black jack only lol.

And stay away from the horrible dice sites.. only cause seeing that card image makes me feel more have a chance at winning..

I actually saw an ad for them on the Bitcoin Black Friday site a few months back, and I checked them out. I read all about provably fair gaming, which made me feel pretty comfortable with gambling there.

i think it is all about luck to win in gambling.

Black jack has a house edge. So you will lose eventually even playing perfect strategy.

With proper play and bankroll you can really narrow down that edge to less than 1%

Not saying Betchain is easy to win but already doubled deposit. Having the best luck here out of any other site.

Interesting piece of information: the beginning downtrend, I literally lost 13 hands in a row at one seat. That's the longest losing streak I've seen in over 2,000 hands.

primedice has a small house edge too. In reality if you dont have an edge you dont bet. It's simple kelly staking.

How are you playing? Strategy?

Playing 3 seats at a time, using basic BlackJack strategy (chart on the previous page). What I've been doing with my betting is like so. In the middle seat, I'll bet X amount of mBtc. The outside hands will be 3/4X and 1/4X like so:

I don't have a very good reason for doing so, only that it has been working well for me.

Do you raise bets on lose?

No. Chasing losses will result in disaster. Losing streaks can be very long.
