The site is using Oxwall, so it is coded with PHP and converted to XHTML which is very outdated.

One thing I've noticed immediately was that each time I browse to a different page on your site, it parses HTML by evaluating a bunch of scripts and repaints the layout twice. PHP has this problem of doing all the calculations and making the changes of the dom only from the server. Also, I see a lot of timers being fired. You can greatly improve page rendering speeds if you fix these!  ;)

I lost track of everywhere I posted, I apologize for the delay, I need to turn on email notifications for this site. Just to clarify, I can't pay anyone to help me, I haven't even figured out how I can make money with the website.  I'm a graphic designer and I have no skills in coding whatsoever.

I don't know what I'm looking for but I do think this is a good idea for a website, as for it being a freebie site, I know... I'm just a starving artist trying to figure out a way to make it working from home.  If you guys could sign up maybe we can get a thinktank going and work together and figure something out.

I just created another post in project development, I was going to delete it and focus on this post but it wouldn't let me do it.  I hope you guys sign up and contact me, I'm pretty stoked about the idea.

Interesting. You should look for developing an administrative team; looking at your website, it looks like too much to manage for one person. You should look for more people to invest time into the project

I have a SEO guy who needs me to answer the same question in order to get started on drawing traffic to the site.  I welcome any ideas, I want it to be something different than anything else out there, I thought the social network aspect was a great start, I thought about a guru.com site for freelancers accepting bitcoin only as payment, but that's is lacking the social aspect I'm wanting to deliver.  Kickstarter entered my mind as well.  I just don't know at this point.  THINKTANKERS UNITE!

What's the size of your current viewer database? The problem with having the guru.com site for freelancers is that there are already a couple sites like that, so making yours the most prominent one would be difficult
