Over 300 additional Bitcoins were swept from blockchain.info wallets of users, continuing the fallout from a problem with the random number generator that was modified at blockchain.info on December 8th. They may have fixed that bug, but cached copies may be around etc. The "campaign" is if you see a 100 Euro note on the ground you can pick it up and try to find the owner or leave it and let someone else pick it up and have them keep it. Some are doing the former before others do the latter. blockchain.info is doing stupid things and playing fast and loose with security. One sees the problems with their web site daily as compared to the block chain and other block explorers. The software is very tricky as one would've thought gox demonstrated over the past 3+ years. I don't really trust any third party any more and I suppose this is for the best.

They did not prove the "software is very tricky", since plenty of other sites are able to provide decent amounts of security. |
