Title: Reddcoin (RDD) Controlling The Conversation ...
Post by: Humanovation on December 15, 2014, 10:36:05 PM
Interesting how the devs have shut down the BitcoinTalk thread and are now transitioning away from Reddit ... both forums for discussion that are difficult for them to control. They are moving to the new site that is 100% within their control. Why don't they want people discussing Reddcoin freely and without censorship? What are they hiding?

There is something inherently untrustworthy about a coin marketed by developers that are doing everything within their power to prevent people from asking questions or discussing issues that they don't want brought to light ... smells fishy.

Now, they are deleting all of the threads on reddit that point out programming issues or question their lack of progress ... cheesy.

Making a self moderated thread here makes a coin look iffy, but restricting discussions exclusively to the devs own forum makes a coin look reallly iffy.

Those of us that know the history of reddcoin and some of us even fell victim to it. There has been a lot of shady business. I for one and glad they have moved into their own circle jerk it will protect others from falling into their trap here and on reddit.

I heard the name but never did any research on it. There was one member here I remember who said he made a fortune on it but that was ages ago. Was it pumped and dumped?

The only person that made a fortune was the developer. ;)

As a rule of thumb you really shouldn't trust coin that only interacts with its community through a controlled forum, reddit is especially bad due to the voting system they use.

I think it is more like a dying dog, wants to run away and die alone.
