One doesn't need a lot of hashing power to get a bunch of altcoins. There's some valuable altcoins out there, you just don't see the value that others with more experience & knowledge do. Also, there are coins that are little known that have great potential value; if you don't look, you'll never find. I agree that most are not really worth anything or have any real intrinsic value.
