Title: Time to transfer Ripple to BTC? Post by: miztaziggy on December 16, 2014, 07:19:21 PM I still have my Ripple from the original forum post where they gave away 40k to everyone. Right now that's about $850 or 2.5 BTC.
I want to trade them for BTC, but would quite like to pick the top of the market. Ripple seems to be booming right now. No idea why. It's really spiking. XRP has been up and BTC has been down.

Markets are hard to predict and you might regret this chance in the future - also you might regret doing the trade too. I hope you have a backup of your wallet by the way, afaik. they closed the old client for good now and potentially removed the encrypted keystore associated with that.
