All 10 have gotten their bitcoins. So, I don't have more to give out this round. However, I'm yet to see all use theirs, so if they don't I can move that over to someone else more interested in helping me out.



Hey guys and girls!

Here is a chance for you to win bitcoins for free! I want to test my site with more users, so I though I will give the first 10 people 0.01 BTC which you play with, and the result out of that will be that winners will get more than 0.01 bitcoins! You have absolutely nothing to lose here because you will be playing using my money. And, whatever you win is yours.

Now, I only want users that will help me out and don't waste my time by just withdrawing after they got it. I want you to use this money to bet with, so I can see how my project handles more users. (Maybe I just lock withdraw for those users until time is up for the cakes).

As you can see in the other thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=680412.0 I've been having some great progress, and before I post in gambling making this project more official, I'm looking for a few more people that can help me testing this out. Besides, my site is all about user volume, because I only take a small fee from the winnings! There are ALWAYS a user or users who wins! And in my mission trying to test the site, get feedback and get more traction, I thought this promo could help out. It's really no risk to any of you.

So, this is how this will work.

• You go to https://www.btccake.com (and an account is created if you haven't been there before).
• You go to your profile. (Upper right in the dropdown).
• Change the name if you want by clicking on it.
• You then post your name here.
• I can then look you up, create a deposit address and send you 0.01 BTC to that deposit address.

I disabled "generate deposit addresses" button temporary because I really don't want to clutter down the site with many unused addresses because of this promo. I will enable it again in case someone want to join in anyway though. But for now it's off to keep it nice and clean.

Then use the bitcoins you get to play on either:

The first cake ends Christmas, the other New Year. I would also appreciate any kind of feedback or comments.

Site is back again. I'm using socketio, and seems there might be a bug in that library somewhere... so, this might happen again until I know what is causing the problem.

I fixed a few things in the code, so it should be a bit more stable now. :)

Why you want to change it?

Well, I would if I got a much better one. But I'm not done with the current one. I was planing of changing the colors, so it will look better. I just haven't come around to do it yet because, well, working on the site and life happens... :)

Other people here are offering to sell theirs in hope of getting more bitcoins from me as if free wasn't enough... :)

However u decide it's okay. I wouldn't trust newbies too, but I ain't really a "newbie" since I'm kinda "known" in some of the most known btc gambling sites, but it's okay if u decide not to boost me. Thanks anyways :)
And to be honest I've joined this because of the idea. It's a ponzy but unique one, I like the "golden egg" one too, and both of them are unique due to the cool ideas. Wish u gl with this project and keep it up.

Umm don't get offended, I didn't mean a real ponzi that's why I said unique one. It's ponzi only in a way that the players have to take wedges for cake to get baken I didn't mean a ponzi where you actually repay the old investitors by the money of the new investitors. Hope u get me .

Well, you called it a ponzi, which not only has bad rep, but is also defined like this according to wikipedia: "A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment".

And there is nothing fraudulent with my site. I don't require more and more users to pay old users. Users put money in a pot and random chance picks a user or group of users that will get most of that pot. I take a small fee only. Think of it it as an exchange site where you can buy and sell bitcoins. Works like that, only here its more random. Later on I will add games actually... such as battle ship kind of game. Could be fun.

You're right , ponzi's are known as scams, I just didn't mean it that way, was a bad choice of word. Yeah if you intend to add games later on, make them "multiplayer" ones cause they would be the most fun and you could actually get the profit from every battle (as you would take the small fee), and you don't have to actually worry if you would lose the money or not (like on gamble sites, there's a house edge but still someone can win big always) , cause in multiplayer games you can't lose the money but gain it by the fee's :) .

What I like with my site compared to other gambling sites is that the users are winners here.

Just needs 6 confirmations now, and you will be good to go! For some reason websocket at blockchain.info doesn't work, so the amount will not be updated automatically. However, if you go to your profile, it will synchronize, so if you have 6 or more confirmations and go there, you should see your 0.01 BTC there!

One would think that Krunox likes to crash my site, but I actually appreciate the testing being made! :)

I fixed the above mentioned issue by limiting amount of wedges in the backend. Also, the Chome issue is fixed as well (was a z-index issue for the panel).

Alright, cool! Now, I was thinking giving them time for this christmas cake one. Those that don't have put any bet when that is over will lose their bitcoins to someone else.

I also need some time to put some kind of "tip users" functionality in place which I can then use to quickly send the bitcoins over to someone else directly instead of using the network (and pay a small fee for it). Everything in the system has 6 or more confirmations, so it's pretty much safe in that regard.

So, what I will do is just pretend those inactive users tip the new ones. That way the new users will get it directly, and it will work nicely with the system internally. Also, Tip system is now online. It might take some hour before it works, because some files are cached which means it will take some moments before the new updated ones are used. So, clicking "Tip" in that context menu for a user won't work until the cache is updated.

0.00100000 bet placed on the wedge that won and won with 25.26x times that, 0.02425599 BTC! That is what can happen when more are involved and the pot grows. Pretty cool! Note though that Krunox placed many bets on several wedges, so the win isn't as big, but it shows how this works!
