Title: 777Bitco.in faucet turned scam - Notice
Post by: Kprawn on December 17, 2014, 06:29:28 AM
Just a warning to beginners - Do not support this site, they will not pay you.

Also see this thread, of other people complaining,  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=829599.new#new

They take all the advertisement income and pay nothing back to the people, who support them.

Your withdraw will go to a pending status, and you never get a confirmation email. {They try to stall, by saying their email system is faulty}

If I was the only one, I would not have bothered, but there are lots of people complaining and I have more than one payment pending.

Do not fall for the default response. "Check your spam folder"  ;)

I think we both had same problem :D Try adding @777bitco.in in trusted senders. My host was blocking emails from their domain completely, didn't even end up in spam folder. After that it should work fine.

Coming from a newbie account, means nothing... Can be a shill account.. My host blocked nothing, I am friends with the host, I am using and my previous withdraws went through, without any trouble.

They stopped paying, and eating the gross profit, from all Ad income. >:( >:(

Hi,
Have you tried to press re-send email button?
Last payment from them I received
"11/12/2014 12:21:09   0.00025082   accepted"
Once delay was about two weeks but then they finally paid.

It is a faucet, so the users only waste their time spent on it without getting any payment.
But from monetizator4's above post, it seems some users do get their payments.

I have been paid regularly but there is some time (days  :)) between withdraw confirmation and paying. My last payment was 15 december at 18:40 for a withdraw confirmation at 18:02. But mostly it cost more than 2-3 days.

Maybe you should have listened to what I told you instead of handing out insults. What does you being friends with the host have to do with anything? ;D It says "pending" on your pic that means confirmation email has not been clicked. Only two possible reasons, either 777bitco.in is not sending emails OR your mail host is blocking emails from that domain.

For those who don't receive confirmation email from them try adding @777bitco.in to your trusted senders.
For hotmail it's under Options -> Safe and blocked senders -> Safe senders -> @777bitco.in -> Add to list >>>
than go to 777bitco.in and click on "Re-send mail".

I see no insult in my post.  ??? People sometimes use newbie accounts, when they want to hide their real identity. Most of the time, most of us, ignore newbie account responses, because it's a indication of shill posting.

My friendship to my host has a impact, because I have full access to what is blocked and what not.  ;)

Would I come to this forum and post this, if I did not click on "re-send mail" ? {You can click, on that until you blue in the face, you will not get payment}

I am not the only one, with this problem, and that is a indication, that they not just doing this to me, but with other people too.

If you use the biggest faucets eg. Freebitco.in and Bitcoinzebra you get automatic payments, and that is how it should be. {The email thing, is just giving them a excuse to hide behind, not to pay people}

As a faucet owner, I would say, you would understand how important it is to pay your faucet members. That site is keeping people busy for weeks and they get no remuneration for it.

I've also fallen for this one..."Waiting"-status for payout seems eternal.

Update: they do pay (as people below are saying), it just takes them longer than they say.

Reason for "scam" ? Not enough money to pay user ?

yes, it means you visit their website, you increase their traffic so that they can get more advertisement and earn more money, you bring more people by advertising (reffs) and at the end you will get no payment.

this is the reason why i dont bother with new looking faucets and stick with old ones that still do payout.

just move on to where you know for sure you`ll be paid. dont waste your time elsewhere, cause you`ll kick yourself for killing all that time for nothing.

The site you have in your mind is probably 777coin.com, which is a casino and has an active signature campaign.
On the other hand, 777bitco.in is a faucet and has no sig campaign AFAIK.

I agree, this faucet was a scam.

I recommend you to use only faucets which pays through a "dust collector" like Microwallet or Faucetbox.

Are you sure? It seems unusual that a faucet would be running a sig campaign here since the margins for faucets tend not to be very high. With the exception of larger faucets such as Freebitco.in, most don't make a lot of money from their ads. Or perhaps you are thinking of 777coin's sig campaign which isn't related to 777Bitco.in despite their similar names? The former is a gambling site and the latter is a faucet.

Yeah, i think he messed up the two, because they have similar names, even i thought of casino at first.
Anyways, just because it stopped paying doesnt mean its scam, try contacting them first, its strange for a dust collecting faucet to be scam, its not like they are earning much from those ads anyway.

cheers

So you're basically saying that they are legit but they are  paying with a slight delay? Faucet payments are not so big and are free to begin with. So I would not call them scam at this point. Just wait a bit for situation to stabilize.

Because a faucet earns money with your visits. It isn't free money, It's a website which turns your add views into money for you.

Maybe we should create a list of scam-faucets.
