I do not "wish bitcoin dead."  The bears need to run their course before we are able to start the next bull market.

Dollar strength is going to crush emerging market currencies which will drive Bitcoin adoption all over the world.

Microsoft accepting Bitcoin was huge and will drive many more merchants to adopt in 2015.  This will increase Bitcoin's utility substantially.

I suspect he means that from a market technical analysis point of view this wave's lowest price should go below the previous wave's highest price. This wave's lowest point of ~$270 was not low enough to satisfy the technical analysts.

To be honest i don't think we can expect a change any time soon. I was hoping we could hold around 320-330 for a few days before sliding down again, but support is all gone already and massive selling pressure is building rapidly. Quite sure we will drop below 300 within 24 hours.

I'm very enthusiastic about bitcoin as a technology, but the way people treat it, spread around fud for their own profit, try to scam each other etc etc, just makes me sad. Just shows we have the technology to advance money and finance, just not the mentality.

Every time I think the dumpers have finally stopped new gigantic dumps start happening again. I'm starting to wonder if we will go below $300.

We are only 4696 btc off dropping below 300usd on bitstamp....

I hope it will go down a bit more, this is a perfect time to buy.

To close out this year year long bear market, you WILL need a capitulation event.  This is the start of it.  Better times will rise from the ashes.

Thats debatable, your line slopes too high. Anyway on such huge range in price scale there bound to be large margin of error, I wouldn't yet say support is broken. Not saying it won't be but isn't definate yet.

Where it ends up in a few days will tell if that long term log chart has been broken.

I am hoping it goes up next year, if the mining reward halves and the difficulty increases.

I was a participating Bear Whale Slayer in October.  Since I already bought some at $300, I'm looking out for another potential quick sub-$300 dip if I can get it.

It's a slower drop this time. In October the bearwhale crashed the price a lot faster. At least it was over and done with in a shorter period of time.

Pink dashed line is the line that failed, the one you showed from Bitcoin Wisdom. I think pink solid line still might provide support and launch next bigger bubble.

I for one am waiting for bottom.  If we are there already...I need to see ~$300/BTC sustained for a couple months.  Then perhaps I'll jump back in when I feel like a new bull market is favorable.  Another part of me...(sorry holders)...wishes for BTC to drop to or below $100 again...then I'd most likely load up like crazy - however I doubt it'll drop to that level again.  My thoughts are if things drop to ~$200...deep pocketed opportunist speculators may reincarnate a new massive bubble.

If bitcoin can't deal with 10% yearly inflation it's not worth it. No go buy some PayCoin lol

Now if you sell you make a very bad decision. Now is the moment to buy and HODL for better time (we hope that better time will arrive next year). Don't sell now and have guts to wait a lot of time, because in future scenario will change ;)

i also think that a bubble is imminent, maybe not as a big as the one of 2013, but something that will recover the price

^ Very true... At least we aren't at that crazy level where people buy the entire way down! If you buy some at 300, then plan to buy more at 200 if it hits, I really don't think anyone would let it get near $100 so you are basically pretty close to the bottom already if we honestly haven't hit it already  ???
