I will explain both of these methods in details:

Here are the screenshot's which prove that I conduct legitimate activity:

1. Last page of my transaction history:
(You can see in this screenshot how everything starts, money I have earned by participating in Amazon business program is transfered from Amazon Payments to my Amazon Account Balance, no credit card is used. You can also see that this balance is periodically withdrawn to my Amazon.com Gift Card Balance)

So whose card is linked to the account?

No card, merchandise is paid via Gift Card Balance.

Can you disclose your rates/fees?  For example, if I want to buy $100 worth of goods on Amazon, how many BTC will this cost me?

Neat, yet another money laundering scheme.

You literally just registered here, its hard for people to trust people like you where there has been so many scammers.

I would urge people to use established services for this like spendbitcoins.com, btcbuy.info or btczone.com to name a few.

Well, I'm still thinking about discount rates, it will depend on price of the product, user rating, bitcoin-otc Web Of Trust, escrow or not, my mood... :D

It's not money laundering, I earn Gift Codes online, check via Google there are a lot of offers to work and earn gift codes.

I can prove that merchandise is paid with Amazon Gift Balance via digital invoice, so don't worry.

I completely understand, I think the same way. I know that I'm new here, but I have to start somewhere, right?

One thing is for sure, I'm here to stay, so if you are scared, wait for a few month until I get some feedback.

Charging different prices for different people, and depending on your mood, Sounds pretty scammish to me.

Yeah, but there aren't many places where you can earn upwards of $5000 very easily. I've done my time on the Get Paid To Circuit, and there's no way you earned those legit.

I can prove that merchandise is paid with Amazon Gift Balance via digital invoice, so don't worry.
It's not the gift balance I'm worried about, it's how you got said gift balance.

If you're receiving BTC, why should the other party's rating matter?

To most governments around the world, it's considered de facto money laundering any time you spend or transfer money without a public record which includes the government-issued ID of all persons involved.  As a result, "money laundering" has become a phrase largely devoid of meaning, and I wouldn't worry about someone accusing you of it.

I said that I don't know for sure yet, a mood thing was a joke.

Who said it was easy? I'm working since June 2011.

It's not the gift balance I'm worried about, it's how you got said gift balance.
You don't have to worry, I have earned every cent. It's up to you will you trust me or not.

If you're receiving BTC, why should the other party's rating matter?
Well, I was reading about BTC almost a week before I started this. I saw this kind of practice. I will adapt in time, I'm actively exploring what to do, what not to do...

I don't do money laundering, not a thief, not a scammer, fraudster, never stole anything in my life and I never will. Not that kind of man.

I guess this is the normal situation. I don't trust stranger's just as every normal person don't trust. There is no need for heavy words, we will build trust in time...

If you've earned the balance since June 2011, why wait till now to use/sell it? And EVERY single affiliate site has a "Payment history" page, so you should provide screenshots of those, as well as of your gift card log on amazon, showing dates going back to June 2011. ;) That will go a long way towards earning some trust.

Well, I didn't wait, I earned in total from October 20th 2010 (that day I earned 4cents :D), till now $7534.14. I gave up that first day because I thought only 4cents, damn this is not profitable :S I can see I tried again in January 12th 2011. Small earnings... On May 5th 2011, I earned first bigger amount $14,5. After that I become better, better, with every day I learned something new and become more and more efficient. There are 56 pages of my transaction history and 5 pages of gift card activity, it would be crazy to attach them all :S

It's not too much because it's earned in a period of 20 months. Just start with (m)any affiliate program, website, sell microstock photos, use referral's, do some freelancing, trade, be fair, be polite, follow the rules, etc... Also it's a very hard work, I work from 7AM to midnight, saturday's, sunday's, plus I got scammed so many times :S I don't do this "job" because it's profitable, I do it because I have to. I have master degree in mechanical engineering and I can't do anything with it because it's high unemployment in here. This "job" is just a way to survive until I find a real job. So, really nothing special, no magic potion...

I know a few people that make big money from amazon's affiliate program. So, $5000 in amazon credit isnt that unbelievable. It's about what some of these guys make in a month from amazon.

I agree, I see the potential of it, I've only had a total of 5 sales through one banner on my small time website, but I still made $5! Way better than any ad company!

As soon as I want something from amazon, I'll let you know! You've provided enough proof that you aren't carding, so I'd buy from you if the price is right. (10%? off)

Hello Sadpandatech,

Exactly, customer should send me a link, I will calculate how much it cost's in BTC and if the price is OK with a customer, we could arrange other details.

I have added nifty little "indicator" to my OP in order to show customers how fast they will receive my reply, so:

When it's like this: it means I will answer in minutes:
Awake => will respond in minutes
it means I will answer in minutes.

On the other hand, when it's like this:
Sleeping => will respond first thing in the morning
it means I will answer as soon as I wake up.

It's nothing much, but at least no one will spend time biting nails, waiting for my reply in front of computer while I'm sleeping :D

That really is pretty, darn nifty though. I hate wondering when/if someone is available and often make a choice on a seller based on whether I know when I will get a first rsponse back. Whether that be right away or in the morning, just knowing is always nice.

Doesn't Amazon Associates require taxpayer identification number because it counts as income? How much does the government steal from it?

He's not using amazon associates. And how much they take depends on how much you make across all your income sources.  ;)

Amazon takes that info not but does not have to 1099 you until you cross a $20k and 200 transaction thresehold in a year.  After which point the cheapest way to pay taxes on it would be to file it as self employed income and make sure to inclue any expenses you incured making those $20k + any other income, etc....

Hmm, looks like the and/or presented to Amazon Marketplace sellers, which I am one. What are considered transactions for the purposes of Amazon Associates, I wonder (but could probably look up if I didn't...*)? Withdrawals of your referral fees (which would be very difficult to make 200 of in one year), or each purchase that you referred? If the latter, seems like you'd hit that far in advance of $20k.

I know Amazon fights the .gov over taxes, but as long as they store people's TINs under U.S. jurisdiction, there's nothing stopping the feds or states from changing the tax code and/or seizing the databases, which is why I terminated my mTurk and Amazon Payments accounts, and am watching my Marketplace account transaction count to deactivate it for the rest of the year before they force me to provide TIN. *Only manage the Associates account for a 501(c)(3), so giving their TIN for that was fine.

Looks like there was a quite of discussion in this thread while I was sleeping :D It seems that hard working members of our community already answered your question... Since I'm not using Amazon Associates program, nor I'm the citizen of U.S., I can't really answer your question. You should start separate thread for this question or ask other community members who are involved in Amazon Associates Program, I'm sure they will find the way to help you find answer for your question.

I just assumed that's how you'd made that much, as I take surveys for Amazon credit and I couldn't even make $5,000 in a decade or two at this rate.

You have to change something... There are many ways to earn money online and none of them is easy, but with good organizational skills and hard work you can make decent amount of money. Because you are telling me that you are doing surveys, I will just give you example what you should aspire to:

This hard working girl is a member of 1800 survey website's and that is a real way to make some money via surveys, but not easy at all.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I DQ out of most paid surveys because I can't afford common expenses, products, and services, if I can even get registered with the surveyors in the first place, so many of whom are closed to new registrations.

I had AmazonStuff purchase for me a GTX560 from Amazon. The card is happily on its way and the BTC is happily in escrow on Bitmit.  He was very effective in catering to my high demand for attention, AKA, I can be a pain in the ass. The exchange was handled very professionaly and I will most certainly be back again!

Thanks again, m8

That was fast. Received the card already today.

OT; the only thing used about it was that it was out of its orginal box. 0 dust and smelled just like brand new. =)

Those are the good news, I'm really happy you got your card earlier :D

It a Amazon practice to sell something new as used, just because original packaging is damaged, so they switch the boxes, but merchandise is intact. I still don't like to sell used merchandise from Amazon because it's a risk and can cause conflict with the customers, but I'm happy this time everything went fine :D :D :D

P.S.
One thing I owe you more is a digital invoice, I will send it during the day to your e-mail address...

Now,  this "indicator" could be found in my signature, I think it will give you more info and that it will be more visible throughout this thread  :D

I have placed several orders through AmazonStuff, and the level of service has been superb.  I usually get a response within minutes and then receive feedback every step along the way.  I was sent screenshots as soon as the order was placed, then tracking numbers when available.  I felt so comfortable after placing the first order that I didn't wait until taking delivery before placing additional orders.  I will update the thread once I've received everything, but I don't anticipate any problems.  AmazonStuff really knows how to treat customers.

Hello Datafish,

I would like to thank you in public for your kind words and for having enough trust in using my services. I hope you will receive everything you ordered on time and in excellent condition. I still owe you tracking number for the chairs and as soon as Amazon sends it to me, be sure I will forward it to you.

Hello BoardGameCoin,

Thank you for contacting me :D

Only reason why I don't offer products from 3rd party sellers is security of my customers. Many 3rd party sellers have lower prices and products which are not offered by Amazon.com itself, but most of those "great" offers are by someone who doesn't have enough ratings on Amazon marketplace or is a service just launched. In order not to create problems to me and my customers, I made a decision not to sell products from 3rd party sellers.

It is in my interest to sell, but I have to think about customers and their security. I'm really sorry, but I hope you will understand this decision.

Makes sense... Just to clarify, here's the item I purchased:

http://www.amazon.com/DGT-Cube-Game-Clock-players/dp/B004S56RJG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1344956669&sr=8-2&keywords=dgt+cube

That would count as a third-party item, so not an item that you sell, right?

Thanks,

-bgc

Unfortunately, this is a 3rd party seller, I don't sell these. Maybe Amazon sells something alternative to this product...

Well basically I can order anything from Amazon.com, but rule of my program is to sell only new products labeled as "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com".

Intention of this rule is to protect customer.

If you can't find better way, of course I will help you, but everything that happens is between you and 3rd party seller...

I think this is great, but an even better idea would be to ship goods in the USA worldwide for BTC. Now that would really catch on as there are alot of vendors who wont ship outside the USA and people wanting their products.  ;)

Hello yrtnc,

I was thinking about that, but it's limited what could be sent worldwide and also too expensive for the end-user, so I decided to work within US only. Many people are asking me could I ship worldwide, but when we put everything to the paper Amazon international shipping is much expensive than to go to the nearest local store and buy desired item. Of course it's in my interest to sell, but it's not OK to empty someone's wallet when he can buy it much cheaper, so my advice for international buyers is visit your local store, it's cheaper :-)

You will be surprised. There are so many places with expensive products. For example, we can buy 30% cheaper laptops from bestbuy.com but they will not ship international. If you could buy and ship them, you would make a killing.

Thank you for your advice!

It would be in my best interest to ship internationally, but as I said before it's very limited what could be shipped via Amazon International Program and list of countries supported is also very limited. I tried before, but when customers hear the final price they usually give up. For example, international shipping cost is very bloated + for some countries there is a customs duty + import taxes + ... D'OH!  :-\

It is a good wish and one who could do it will make a killing, but it's very complicated and almost impossible.

It is a good wish and one who could do it will make a killing, but it's very complicated and almost impossible.

I can share some pancakes with you instead :D

Hello Reron,

Unfortunately, I don't work with digital goods. You can read more about rules at the first post of this thread. There are many Amazon Gift Card seller's on board, maybe someone could help you. Also visit Bitmit, I saw few sellers work with GC too.

I hope this helps :-)

If I'm right about what you're really doing with this "service" you should probably charge 30% of the price of the good or even less.

Hello MakeBelieve,

I can't order digital goods because I'm not a US resident. Actually there is an option, but I don't want to compromise my Amazon account.

I'm dealing only with my gift balance, I don't offer gift codes.

2. I sell only new products labeled as "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com"

Now why is that? You are obviously SEing amazon right? Because if you are really using those legit gift cards, you can use them to buy anything on amazon not just something thats sold by them!

We make our decisions based on our experience. I made literally hundreds of Amazon purchases and based on this large number I can say that I never had any problem when I purchased directly from Amazon.com, but sometimes I had problems when I purchased something from 3rd party sellers.

I don't want to say that it's bad to buy something from 3rd party sellers, I just want to say that for me personally if I have to choose between "No problem ever" and "Problem sometimes", I will choose the first option.

What kind of problems I had with 3rd party sellers?
1. Merchandise doesn't arrive in the advertised condition
2. Merchandise is damaged
3. Wrong color, size etc
4. Wrong merchandise in the package
5. Package is late
6. No tracking number
7. Package doesn't arrive at all

Because you and a large number of other customers are still interested to buy from 3rd party sellers on Amazon, I will make an appendix to the Limitations rule and will enable everyone to buy from 3rd party sellers, but it will be on their own responsibility and the only payment method will be "Direct BTC payment".

I hope that this solves the problem, but I still strongly advise everyone to buy directly from Amazon.com if you want to avoid occasional headache.

Cheers! :)

Hello again Mtwelve,

My offer is similar to other marketplace offers. I took an small step and gave 7,5% discount for the "direct BTC payment", that's a bigger discount compared to Gyft.

There is a significant difference compared to Gyft, they give discount in points and they offer 3% of their points, they don't give discount in BTC, you must return in order for this to become profitable and buy again.

Other difference is that you will get "free 2-day shipping" if you buy via me, you won't receive this if you buy via Gyft.

There are plenty of offers, people are offering 20% discounts on Amazon gift cards, some of them offer 50% discount, you are free to buy from them, but beware because many of those offers are not legit, stolen credit cards are used, I don't know any other reason why would someone give discount that big.

Personally I work with a 7,5% loss, I earn 100% and I give 7,5% of my own earnings, that is as much as I can do.

It seems that I can purchase from MyHabit.com, I went thru all steps of purchase process and it gave me an option to use my gift card balance.

I don't know what MyHabit.com is all about, but this popped-out when I logged into it:

Because you are an Amazon Prime member, you can enjoy access to events 30 minutes before they are available to other customers.

Is this beneficial for anything?

For yes first question, do you still offer free two day shipping? That is something I would buy through you (it's $10 dollars addtional)

Second question, not really. I mean if you really want to get on something you know that is going to be sold out like really quickly, I guess. But yeah, does the two day free shipping apply on Myhabit?

From MyHabit website:

Does Prime FREE two-day Shipping work on MyHabit?

No.  Free two-day shipping is not part of the Prime Early Access benefit on MyHabit.com at this time.  Orders over $99 qualify for MyHabit Free Shipping in the US.

So, I think 2-day shipping is not offered if someone with Prime account like myself order something from MyHabit.

There is no free 2-day shipping on MyHabit for the Amazon Prime members, we must pay for the expedited 2-Day delivery upgrade. If it's possible to buy on MyHabit, I can offer 7,5% discount on (Price + Shipping + Tax if any) of the product you order. In other words 7,5% discount on price total. Is that acceptable?

Hi, I'm kinda worried about giving you my address, would you be able to purchase  from someone's amazon public wishlist? (http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/102-0623691-0552123?ie=UTF8&nodeId=3058771) Thanks!

Great! Unfortunately I think I will wait until Bitcoin Black Friday to see if I can get any better deals at say newegg. If I don't get any better deals, I'll try you out.  :)

If you are concerned about your privacy I have added the option to purchase Amazon.com merchandise without sharing your personal info with me, by sharing your Amazon wish list.

You can find everything you need to know, step by step instruction in the OP of this thread here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=89636.msg986715#msg986715)

Hello Michaeladair,

Hello Michael,

I have switched to purse.io, it gives me more flexibility. Until further notice, I won't trade on bitcointalk.

Well, damn... I need to buy like a bunch of flash drives, amazon has the wide selection that I need so if you are willing to trade some time that'd be great. I'd even accept a lower discount xd...

For almost a week, Purse.io is experiencing some sort of bug, which prevents completing new orders. I hope that they will fix it soon.

In order not to waste time, I will resume trading on BitcoinTalk. Interesting thing is that wherever you go, you will eventually return to BitcoinTalk :D

Because all tutorial images in the OP were hosted on bayimg (The Pirate Bay image hosting) they are gone, but somehow I managed to find backup images and I reuploaded them on imgur, so tutorials are fixed.

My current Amazon Credit balance is $750.46.
EDIT: $452.47
