BITNODES is a perpetual FPGA to ASIC mining bond where you can buy mining power and receive weekly mining payouts. BITNODES is using %100 FPGAs that will be free upgraded to ASIC around end of October 2012.

Can you clarify what this means? Bond payment starts as soon as BFL starts delivering its ASIC product? How will you be able to cover bond payments until you can backup it with your own hardware?


So this bond payment on top of the first one will start when first product is shipped to any customer and stop payment when the purchased BitForce SC Single is received by the bond issuer?

Dividends will be paid weekly. This week dividends will be paid on Sunday ~ 0.0043

Yesterday was the 4000 bonds, why are fewer?

More bonds will be published soon! The list is for the bonds that will be published in the coming 2 weeks "only if previously published bonds are sold out"!

Dear BitNodes bond holders,

GLBSE is closed. Your BitNodes investment is 100% secure. I didn't have a single BTC in GLBSE at the time they've closed. The only point that will change by now is that I will start paying the weekly dividends directly to you. In order to be able to do that, I have to verify ownership of the bonds. I am currently waiting for the list of bond holders from GLBSE. I am expecting to receive such list from GLBSE on Monday, it would be something like: "Username+Email+number of bonds owned by the account".

What you need to do now is to send me an email @ bitnodes@gmail.com with the subject: BITNODES

You have to send me the email from your GLBSE registered email "this is a critical point so I would be able to verify your account"

Please include the following info in the email body:

> Your GLBSE username.
> Number of BitNodes bonds you hold.
> BTC Payment address.

Once I receive such email from you and having it verified with the info I will receive from GLBSE, your BTC payment address will be set and you will start receiving the weekly dividends directly to your BTC address.

Dear Bitnodes Bond holders,

I will pay all unpaid dividends for the last weeks in one transaction this Sunday. I've decided to send the devices earlier to be hosted in USA up until the upgrade process is ready by BFL. It would take 3 to 15 days for the devices to reach its destination from Belarus to USA. I didn't want to wait until BFL ask for the devices to be sent for the ASIC upgrade. Having the devices hosted in USA for the coming couple of weeks would allow us to send the devices to BFL much faster than having it hosted in Belarus. And in return we would be able to receive and host the ASIC devices in USA in no time. There is no need to argue, that the first couple of weeks of ASIC will be the most profitable ones. For that I've decided to plan things ahead to ensure we will be able to get the best benefit out of the first ASIC wave.

I currently don't have any plan to move the asset to any system. I am wait for receiving/hosting the ASIC devices to decide on that.

There will be no dividends for the coming week "or 2 weeks" as the devices are currently being shipped to USA.

I've received the BFL singles in USA last week. I am planning to ship it to BFL for the upgrade next week. The devices are offline due to high cost of electricity where I live now.
