The best standalone wallet is Andreas Schildbach's Bitcoin Wallet (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImRlLnNjaGlsZGJhY2gud2FsbGV0Il0.), if you're looking for that, or else take a look (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=bitcoin&c=apps) at all the other bitcoin apps :)

So far, nobody is blocking Bitcoin apps on Android. There is some great development going on there.

Nothing for mining?

I only see things for wallet. Is it not possible to develop something like?

Many people mining from mobile, it will be amazing.

Many people mining from mobile, it will be amazing.

One $100 GPU can mine at the level of about 700 high end smartphones.

A mobile mining 24/7 would produce about one penny ($0.01) worth of bitcoins per week.

Real miners mine by head! I'm currently on round 1 of the first round of sha256. Unfortunately I keep getting new work before I can finish so I have to restart... will have to find a shortcut.

^this, mining by hand can be a little more profitable than a smart phone, here you have some guidance https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56343.0 if you decide to take a shot at it, I can't recall seeing an android phone miner anywhere on the internet though  :-\

If you still have some questions, try out Rugatu (http://www.rugatu.com) and you will be surprised.
