Title: now lending WIP. No collateral - you just have to ask
Post by: FederalReserveofWIP on December 18, 2014, 12:15:09 AM
Hi loan seeker,

The Federal Reserve of WIP oversees a centralized fiat called WIP, and is now lending WIP - no collateral required.  You just have to ask.  Please see the thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896826.0

You can apply in that thread, in this thread, or by email to federalreserveofwip@gmail.com

All loans must be paid back with interest!

This may be your only chance in this forum to receive a loan of any currency without collateral.  We hope you will apply.

Best regards,

Chairman,
Federal Reserve of WIP

Hi Vod,

We are working on a website but it's not a priority right now.  You are right that we use a gmail address, however we do have a copy of a public ledger posted in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=896826

as well as saved to our PC.  It's a centralized coin, very different principles from other coins.

If you want to borrow WIP, you can do so and it will show up in the ledger once it is manually processed.  Simply state how many WIP you would like to borrow.   The Federal Reserve of WIP can unilaterally create more WIP at its discression.

Also note that, by design, this makes the WIP inflationary.  New ones will be created over time.  So, if you do borrow WIP, it should be quite a bit easier to repay once there are more in 'circulation.'

Hope this helps.  If you have any other questions let us know.

Chairman,
Federal Reserve of WIP

Hi,

The Federal Reserve of WIP "enjoys a unique public/private structure".  We are private, but serve an important public debate role.  As well, we hope through our actions and moderately inflationary currency, stable prices (intro parity of $0), and other examples, to show some of the benefits of a fiat system run under good stewardship.

Why don't you become an allied bank by taking out an interbank loan from the Federal Reserve of WIP.  You can then lend that currency out or use it in other ways subject to the conditions outlined at the top of this post.  If nothing else, it should prove an interesting comparison with decentralized crypto currencies.

There are currently no collateral requirements at all.

We hope to keep WIP stable and growing and welcome anyone who is on board.  We also welcome any questions or debate, here or in the other threads.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Chairman of the Federal Reserve of WIP
