Title: Websites to Earn Bitcoins II
Post by: Rugatu on June 25, 2012, 06:21:39 PM
Re-posting from the original thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=74889.0)

I have posted this list on a couple of other websites so I thought I would post it here. Hopefully this will come in handy for the newbies here :)

I think it might be worthwhile to mention in the OP, that the transaction fees will be quite high, if you're amassing your fortune through faucet sites. That's for the official client at least - others I don't know.

Just sayin'.

I've found oscry.com (http://oscry.com/?ref=1DW4vSMWDqbMHiD7LQAhESTm2qmDen4cMm) which similar to dailybitcoins, I hope we can add it!

Oh yes, please add mycryptcoin.com on watch list, as they have problems in processing payment since days ago and there no ways in contacting the owner!

Scam in which way? I have used it before and got paid; sometimes it takes longer to get paid, but in general I got everything I deserved. I don't know if it has been paying out recently, though.

At this time I get this "error":
Quote
Sorry, to prevent fraud. Some IPs, including yours have been filtered.
This is a scam, because I get the error after filling the captcha.
Also, there are lots of captchas filled some weeks ago (2 or 3) without getting money for them.

Of course, I fill the captchas one by one, I don't try to fraud the site.

Thanks, it can be really difficult for the new entrant into BTC to get established.
Many of the places I've visited seem to pay low.  I have not been terribly pleased
with CoinWorker, for instance.  Their minimum payout is a lot of time.

I agree, a lower payout will be better, because the earnings are more "tangible".
In order to decrease the fees, the payouts could be done once a day.

It's important to realise bitcoincaptcha.org don't make any money from solving the captchas,
the funding comes from the adverts and donations,
the captchas are just to prevent bots and also helps the google libraries project.
Maybe the adverts aren't available in your area.

No it doesn't cost to join. These sites give you a percentage back as cashback when you link thought their affiliate links to merchants. You cant spend bitcoin unfortunately...yet. You also get cashback say for example £10 to take a Netflix trial.

Some of the default values from the OPs free bitcoin websites are not up to date. P.e. CoinAd is 0.0003 instead of 0.0005 now and YouGotCoin is 0.001 instead of 0.01 now. Maybe there are others that have changed since the last update of the OPs post. Btw: YouGotCoin.com is currently down (since a day or so). I don't know if it's just temporarily or the service is gone. Anyone knows more about it?

I needed .2 BTC because I didn't have quite enough to make a purchase and didn't want the hassle of depositing money  and waiting. So I went to omne of the sites where you take a survey for BTC. It was ridiculous!! I tried several and it said I didn't qualify. Finally I got one where I did qualify and it was long and convoluted. At the end I saw no way to collect any bitcoin..what a waste of time!

Yup, thanks karlzt.  I keep that list updated, as well as the one in my sig.
Me, and members like cambda, check the sites every day and report on any issues and news regarding them.

If your thread isn't just a duplicate of threads me and others have already started why should you be upset that I post in it?    :-\

I was just replying to karlzt's post.

Since they updated their site recently, I have troubles with the site:
1. Randomly says my address is "invalid"
2. many many times it says the captcha is incorrect, forcing me to reload the previous page, and let's just say after many tries, it gets frustrating.
3. They changed it to where you could send your mBTC in batches... now that I've done that, I can't get enough bTC because of #1 and #2 above, nor can I manage to change my limit to a lower value, because of #2 above.

Very frustrated.
