And want to earn some bitcoins so that I can invest somewhere in the cloud mining companies and earn some money.i started to earn bitcoins from faucets and I got frightened  by what I seen in my wallet  that was 0.07$ (my hard earned money  :(  )  and from then I never looked at faucets. I brought 10$ worth bitcoins from my friend to invest in hashie.co but I was afraid that what will happen  if I lose them?  How will I return him?  So that I gave them back to him.

So please  guys! Help me how to earn bitcoins and suggest me better cloud mining sites where I can earn good.

Sorry if I done any mistakes because this is my first post.

This is a long shot, but if you can afford mining, you should mine and try to earn BTC. Mining with your own hardware, that is.

There are already so many discussions about how to earn mroe Bitcoin, like this one for example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=892453.0

And about cloud mining, it is known that some cloud mining company are not doing real mining, instead they are running a ponzi scheme to pay their client. Cloud mining 101 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0) gives a detailed review about all cloud mining sites. Better read that thread before making any investment on cloud mining. Good luck! ;)

Most cloudmining companies are ponzi scams.
Please stay away from them.

Most all cloud minning service is ponzi.
Earn from faucet just waste your time
You can earn from sign campaign, surfing in reddit with change tip, thats fun way to earn btc. But if you have skill you can earn from doing jobs.

they are safe for pocket change but not for larger sums. keep that in mind.

(also buy a good antivirus and anti-maleware program and run it. dont install shady "mining progams", "price ticker apps" etc etc but in all cases, you are much safer when you use a hardware wallet)

For non-extreme cases - a paper wallet would do fine.

most of cloud mining offering ponzi scheme then will lead you into scam !

My suggestion: you can try join signature campaign once you member rank
and some campaign will give you  BTC 0.025 / month for 50 posts ( 0.0005 / post ===> absolutely better than faucet )

or instamine some new coin

i don't think it's good to advise trading to a newbie, so leave that alone

I heard countless stories about cloud mining and if I were you, think it's better to just forget it. The thing about bitcoin is that you can earn by simply exchanging for it. Depending on what skills you have, get a job that pays well in fiat and then use the money to buy bitcoin if you believe in it. Always remember there's a potential in bitcoin, but there's no surefire or 100% guarantee that bitcoin price will one day go up so high.

I think https://cex.io/r/0/Tagan/0/  is the most secure cloud mining company!
But all my friends and I can not say that you have lot of chances to earn lot of money in that way! If you want good money you need to work hard! And better to work with your head )))

The best way to earn some bitcoin is to sell your products and services. Faucets can give you some bitcoin but the amount is just very small and doesn't worth your time.

Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme.  Also watch out on cloud as mentioned some might be Ponzi.

You can buy and hold.  With that amount there is really not a lot of investing to do.

And want to earn some bitcoins.

Hi there, i think i can help you with that. I`m selling some digital products, and if you become my affiliate and help me sell my products, meaning that they buy from your affiliate link, you earn 10% of the price of that product.

For example I sell a software now for 0.01BTC, if you sell it for me with your affiliate link you can earn 0.001 BTC instantly. You dont have to trust me, i dont have to trust you, everything happens automatically, your job is only to post that affiliate link on forums and promote it.

Here's what you need to do:
1) Make an account at https://cointoli.com/  and login
2) Go to my product page, and you will see your affiliate link at the bottom-right of the page
https://cointoli.com/?product=34  or  https://cointoli.com/?product=35   both are my products, choose which one you want to promote
3) Post that link to forums, chatrooms, your signature, wherever you want to promote it
4) After somebody buys the product using your affiliate link, you automatically get the 10% in your cointoli account, where you can withdraw it instantly (everything is automatic no need to wait for people, withrawal is fast <1 minute, i already withdrawed from them)

See it costs you nothing, just a bit of work to promote and you can earn easily bitcoin, while helping me promote my stuff, if you are interested then you are welcome to be my affiliate, if you have any questions, then PM me.

Forget about cloud mining or other investment type.
They paid for now, and will end SCAM ( ever got scammed about BTC 0.05  :'( )

Try joining signature campaign

or if you have any skill like design logo using photoshop etc, you will be hire by someone with quite high payrate :)

Good start with posting your questions here.

I started year ago and in that time only option was to mine with own HW or CEX.io

I decided to set up own small mining farm. Learn a lot from bitcointalk etc... . I start with one small rig, then purchased some ASICs from Bitmain. Calculate with difficulty and cost. When difficulty inceased I upgrade my ASICs and sold the old one, not for big profit, but I was happy. At the June/July a number of cloud services grown up and you can see advertisment everywhere. I try some of them:

CEX.io - they are good, but you need to think about the fees there as they will keep you down when you purchase small amount of GHs.
Then I try Genesis-Mining - first month was ok promising revenue, one year contract I pay for it seems to be great opportunity to purchase. But after second month income from the contract went down and now it seems that I will lost 40% of my money I invest to it.

My personal experience ... stay away of cloud hash. You can try to get some HW and learn a lot from using it. You can participate on group buying to keep cost low. But be carefull to pay for used HW as you need to check what GHs are you buying for what money.

I think the reason a lot do it is they get you a miner for what ever price you want.   Most miners you will spend 500+ or so for one that is current gen (SP20, S5, etc).  On this I think some see a way to mine with much littler spent.

I do agree it will be interesting one day to see which cloud companies just go away with the BTC paid to them.

Blockchain is pretty safe, they cant steal your balance since they do not have the private keys to spend it. If they get hacked, you would most probably not be affected as your private keys are encrypted on their server. Blockchain and coinbase can get hacked as you need your computer to broadcast or initiate transactions. Hardware wallets are either offline or designed to be protected from computer viruses.

You and me told the same thing. It's absolutely a not good idea to invest in cloud mining website. I think that the only which is real is CEX.io, but it isn't convenient to invest in it, ROI is very very low.

AFAIK, private key are not kept client side , they are stored on the server, encrypted. And I believe some users did not send Bitcoins from their address and still got their BTC stolen. Reports said that the RNG was mistakenly altered during a scheduled update. The best way to store large amount of coins is offline storage. For desktop wallets, hive, multibit, electrum are all good choices for average users. For online wallets, blockchain.info would still be a good choice as this could have happened to any online wallet service.

Hi. The thing is, faucets are just for starting to earn VERY FEW bitcoins. Unless you can spend all day on the computer you won't earn much at all.

The best thing you could do is join a signature campaign if you're gonna spend a lot of time in the forum.
One of the best ways to earn btc is this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4bitcoins you do jobs for people. You gotta be careful about scam though, as always.

Most cloud mining companies are scam as everyone told you already. And even if you find one that isn't scam it won't generate that much profit unless you spend a lot on them. Altcoins are very risky, most are scams and if you find a legit one you never know if it's gonna succeed. Gambling basically.

Bitcoin won't get you rich so easily, unless the price drastically changes from one day to another. Do your research, that's the best thing you can do.

I heard many times that they are ponzi schemes but nobody ever proved that they are, or atleast give good arguments.

Please clarify, i`m really interested why you think they are ponzi?

I mean if you buy a contract from them, then they buy mining equipment on that money, and they give you a share % of what they earned from mining based on the % of what you invested. Sounds sustainable income to me.

Of course it works only if the BTC price wont fall any more, but it sounds legit to me, please prove that this is not the case.

so a hacker can easily steal your coins.

The problem is many of the cloudmining companies never prove they are actually mining.
Puppet has done a great review on them. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0

i am planning to buy some cloud miner . I also want to know why is ponzi schemes.

A ponzi scheme is where investors' money is used to payout early investors' profits.

They eventally collapse.

I know what it is, but this doesnt seem like a ponzi to me, if they invest the money that they gain from investors into ASIC miner equipment, then it sounds legit.

Of course it carries a risk if the BTC price drops, but other than that, if done properly i see no risk.

Ok but that doesnt mean that the cloudmining itself is a scam, it means only that certain mining companies can not be trusted, but it doesnt tell anything about whole industry as such.

The industry looks legit to me, maybe we need the companies to come forward and show us some proof that they actually mine, but other than that, i see no problem

The problem is alot of people dont bother about the legitmacy of the company and just invest in the company due to the promised profits. Even with proofs like pictures, mining stats, etc. They can still be a ponzi as they can be faked. Even if they are real, there are no promises that the company will not run away when alot of people have invested in the company.

You have a point there, atleast they should give their location and phone number and other stuff to seem more legit.

Hello bitcoin masters,

I am just new to bitcoins.

Faucets are probably the worst way to earn Bitcoins.

Your account is fairly new, but still there are some signature campaigns on this firum that will rent your signature space and will pay you Bitcoins for that.
