Post by: baristor on December 21, 2014, 01:26:07 AM
hi i am trying to mine profitcoins from pool.profitcoin.org via my pc GUI Miner.

Now im getting 165 ghs :P and arnd 2 :1 shares accept to loss ratio.

The problem is its not updating on the pool website it says my worker inactive. yet on miner its hashing away blocks.

I am also getting some invalid shares updated on website but none of the valid ones... and miner showing inactive any help pls ?

As far as I see, you try to mine an X13 coin with GUIminer.
Maybe I am on a wrong track, but are you sure that your miner can mine X13?

Seriously?  2:1 reject rate?   :o

To be honest, blunt and potentially rude, you shouldn't even mine with hardware that gets more than 5% reject rate.

You should burn that hardware and never think about it again; do yourself and the rest of miners a favor.

The pools will reject your worker entirely and shows them as inactive until your rate improves.

It is normal to have an abnormally high amount of refusal rate when:

  • The miner is running significantly above (or below) optimal temps
  • You initially connect to a pool
  • Your pool finds a block
  • You are having serious internet connection issues

Anything other than that and your hardware is shit... You're trying to rip 12 feet of permafrost with a D6, don't even try, it's sheer idiocy.

Most pools can tolerate 5-10% without being warned but 50% looks like an attempt to halt the pool from finding blocks.

In Bitcoin pools, you'd be booted and would have lost all your coin.

It's a tactic that crooks used in the past (and to this day sometimes) to halt the good progress of a pool.

Shit Hardware Infusion Attack - That's what YOU appear to be to pools.

MultiPool.us was accused of doing that against BitMinter not too too long ago...

Are you sure you're running the right algo?  Tell us more about WHAT you're running and how you're running it.   Software, hardware, that kinda stuff.
