*Sigh ok, I'll be the smart asshole again. If OPEC adopts cryptos, they have enough money to make their own "OilCoin"... Cost less than $1,000 to have a strong crypto built, with 100% premine, then sell it to idiots who worship the ground they walk on. Think the powerful OPEC wants you to give YOU and ME any type of financial power? It would have to start at the pump itself, regular store owners accepting payment in FuelCoin... You still lack one very critical factor... OPEC itself will never use cryptos since the USD's value is heavily dependent on oil. Saudis are given military power in return of them using the USD for oil all their oil trades. That's why the Rubble is tanking, US big shots are tanking it on the Forex markets since Putin now refuses to do oil transactions in USD. So... you're fighting an animal with a ton of "friends you don't see nor don't even know exist" who are willing to kill innocent people over, so that currencies like this never go anywhere. Let's say, it's very rich market. I'd be curious to know if there are actual gas stations that take it...
