Title: Just Got New Hardware
Post by: AJinNYC on December 22, 2014, 05:34:41 AM
A couple of questions on some new hardware I just got.

I got a Rockminer "New" RBox. It's running fine. Red power led is on, and the blue status led is blinking. Is it not supposed to run at 110 GH/s? I'm only getting about 77GH/s, ideas on why? I'm running it through a USB 2.0 hub. I didn't install drivers on it. I just hooked it up and opened MultiMiner, and it found it without a problem. Maybe it's using drivers for something else?

Second, I got an S3+, regarding powering it, should I be using two cables on my PSU for it, or would one cable (with two connectors) work?

Yes, you should use two cable from psu, one cable is not enough.

Check you've followed through the setup steps in my sig for the New R-Box although I expect your multiminer is running an old version of cgminer. Stock speed is 100GH.

Thought I would share a few pics of the rig now that it's mostly functioning.
