I bought the script and had him build a website for me. Completely helpful throughout and went above and beyond what was asked. This was weeks ago. He still helps me with minor changes and fixes here and there and has been the best website designer / computer programmer I could ask to have hired.

Definitely recommend him in every way possible.

This appears to be geared towards people who have very little resources to devote to programming. It would be possible to set up this kind of system yourself for your own website, and all your payments would not need to go to one address (for added privacy)

I agree, this is geared toward users with a small budget, or little programming exp. and just want an out of the box working solution. Although with it being based around wordpress you have access to thousands of 3rd party plugins, so the customization possibilities are endless.

Each order a customer makes does get sent to a new unique bitcoin address(before it is forwarded to their personal wallet) so the merchant does have a little privacy, although of course it is possible to track where the bitcoin goes after. But I guess that is the same with any system due to bitcoin being a public ledger.

Just an update: Starting tomorrow we will be changing the route we were taking this project and offer it as a free download. The Managed package (where we host/setup your store) will still be a paid service.

I think that is the best news so far.
Very good initiaive.

Another suggestion is to please make the managed prices a bit affordable.

I think you will have many more sales at a lower price and many good clients.

Great project! A site like this opens the E-Commerce world to many Bitcoin related start-ups etc.!

Although hes offering the code for free, if you can afford it please tip him, he has been beyond helpful with setting up my site and obviously wants to help others too. Hes spent many hours on this project for a little return thus far.
